1) Never tell anyone about your future plans (unless you're already actively working on them). 2) If somebody shares a secret with you, it dies with you. (Don't share them just to feel important in the moment). 3) Don't set fake expectations. 4) In conflicts, use "I feel" statements. "This thing you did made me feel like you don't really value and respect me". If someone is being aggressive towards you, use labelling. "It seems to me like you're upset right now (or anxious, etc)". 5) No self-boosting. The things you're most proud off, don't share them cheaply. Let people find out on their own. I used to tell my future plans to everyone as a way to hold myself accountable so I couldn't back out and look like a complete idiot when they follow up. I am a little older and I think wiser now, and I think the better way is just to quietly get it done; people can find out when / if they find out.

Bro i had an experience with female nature yesterday which basically revolves around this topic. The incidence happened with a lady which has been working for my family for more than 10 yrs, she was displaying uncompromising behavior and she wasn't willing to be corrected when wrong. As a result of me and my family checking her on her misdemeanor, she started to bring up things that i had confided in her, that was irrelevant to the argument in order to evade the real situation at hand. From this something came more profound, something that the Red Pill community preaches. That is to never confide in a woman because when she feel like her ego is being target or you are checking her, she will reveal everything that you had once told her. Never again tho

No Secrets - What other people say is out of our control. So it’s not worth worrying about. No Fake Expectations - Just say no when you can’t or don’t want to do something. No “Fuck You” - Don’t fight fire with gasoline. No Self-Boosting - The one I need to remind myself of the most often. Just like the first advice, it helps you keep humility & a mystique about you.

Okay I got a completely disagree with Kevin. I live in Canada. I'm from Ontario. Tim Hortons is a complete garbage restaurant. It used to be good for its coffee. That's no trash and it's food is complete garbage. I'm sure they'll be other Canadians watching this and they most likely will agree with me. I can relate to all these in some way, I was guilty of talking about my future plans. But as far as collabs, I just don’t reply or say “I’m not interested”. Every message doesn’t warrant a reply. But i am someone, if someone opens up to me - I don’t tell anyone. They told me because they trust me. I don’t do gossip or drama. When it comes to dudes talking sh*t, that doesn’t really happen with me. When it has in my adult years, I don’t pay it no mind. I act like I didn’t hear it. But actively dating for a decade, a lot of women has disrespected me. I’m sure this is common. I’m a gentleman but I’m not a nice guy. I’ll call them out on their sh*t. An example, I was on a date with a girl and she had her phone out the whole time and even FaceTimed another guy in front of me… I just got up, said I got to go, walked out. Deleted her. Another woman showed up 30 min late to our date, I gave her 20 min of my time and told her I had to go and said her showing up late gave me a terrible first impression. Deleted her. I always call them out or tell them, “hey, this isn’t okay.” Lol I recommend all men start doing this. Have standards and keep them to it. If they don’t want to abide, then say, “hey it’s okay, good luck and take care.” Move on and talk to someone else. Plenty fish in the sea.

The no F U rule is interesting and it reminded me of something I read in Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People book. I agree with what you said but I wanted to add that I had a gf from China who was older than me and we never fought in all the years together because when I got upset she wouldn’t react. At first I thought she just didn’t care about me because she wouldn’t react and say FU like all the women I dated that were born here. Her culture and her experiences taught her a better way to brush it off and it really was me just trying to get a rise to make me feel that she cared. In time I stopped and when she moved to another state after a bit I started dating again. I noticed that many women also felt that the best thing about a good fight is having great make up sex. Well I learned not to fight and just say I care and we can have the rougher more intense sex without the fight. lol I think our culture in the US is modeling a broken negative pattern in relationships with normalizing that “fighting” is a good thing. It’s not and there are many ways to get your needs met when you learn from someone who is healthy. Realizing I was the unhealthy one was painful to my EGO because it really stands out when around a healthy person and not another broken person. However that book I mentioned would word that completely different. lol

3:28 my man David, wmn have no concept of a "secret" the way we understand it. For them telling secrets to their girlfriends, any of them, doesn't really count as violating a secret especially when it's not one of _their_ secrets. There's a few funny videos about it on youtube. In general, whatever you don't want anyone else to know you should keep it to yourself but for everything that's holy if you need to share it NEVER share it with them. It's a tough one to swallow for many men but it just is what it is.

#1 was golden. I've been guilty of that a few times. It hits the confidence level but at the same time it's a good opportunity to #1 wake yourself up and ask yourself "wtf have I been doin?!", and #2 get yourself refocused and start gettin after it.
