5 Things I DISLIKE About My 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x! 

Very small complaints and this truck is awesome! Love that they kept the naturally aspirated V6! Where the Tacoma now has a 4banger 👎🏻

I also have a 2023 Pro-4X, and really enjoy it. The one thing I would add is a grab handle for the driver. My trade-in was a 2014 Frontier SV. The driver had a grab handle which I used nearly every time I got in and out of the truck. It was also good to have when going down rough roads. I can't understand why they stopped having that handle.

I own a 2022 pro4x. My list of improvements: 1 touch up/down for all four windows; power folding side mirrors, power sliding rear window; no fee app for remote start.

It's kind of crazy these are the things that bother me about my 2023 pro 4X The difference is the problem I have with the steering wheel is it only goes up and down there's no telescoping function.. it makes getting your seat in the right place a pain in the ass.. for the rear view mirror it's definitely a pro 4X thing My fiance has a frontier SV the rear view mirror is not the same it has something to do with the box I think (camera & sensors) .. The bed light drives me crazy anytime I'm trying to do something at night The lights go off I end up just starting the truck so I can see what I'm doing.. Nice video!

Love my 2023 Pro4x, but one thing that I hate is the backup camera quality, wish there was a way to upgrade it. Also the steering gets really heavy at parking lot speeds, i could see how that’s a deal breaker for some people.

So I have been driving a 2023 frontier the last few days as my 2023 Titan pro4x XD is at the dealership. the only complaint is the seats they are nothing compared to the seats in my big boy Titan pro4x XD with the zero gravity seats.

All your comments are successful. My PRO4X with only 3,500 miles has an appointment for change Motor supports, indoor courtesy light, steering column, left and front camera, the full seat of the driver, all covered by warranty. A day ago he stopped working the Bloothoot and the rear camera. Not very happy

I’m really leaning on trading my 2019 tacoma in for one of these. I’ve been complaining about the engine/trans/gearing from the tacoma since I purchased it. It’s the worst vehicle I’ve ever owned. I miss my 2001 tacoma. It was awesome! These Nissans really have my interests peaked. They seem be everything the 3rd gen Tacomas should have been.

I just bought a 2024 pro4x , leather, sun roof the works. Color is red alert. I love this truck and it's very fast ! Love it , love it ❤

Does anyone have the issue with the Gear shifter if you arent paying attention sometimes you stop at reverse not PARK car starts backing up on its own or does the shifter do it on its own...and the damn start button is hard to find...But I have to say I love the truck solid as a rock...

In addition to yours, I have a 22 Pro-4X. For those most part, I do like it. 1. The buttons on the lower dashboard on the left side of the steering wheel could be placed higher, and made easier to see. 2. I installed a winch on mine. I can no longer use the cruise control.....period. It interferes with the radar unit in the front grill. 3. Climate controls....I was driving in a heavy rainstorm last week and needed to turn on the defrosters to clear the windshield. In order to do so, I had to take my eyes off the road (very dangerous) and press the climate mode button until I found the defroster. 5. Don't know if it's me getting in or out of the vehicle that's doing it. I think it is. When I get back in, I find the back of the driver's seat is laid back more than what I had it set at, and I need to reset it. If it's me, they need to disconnect power to that switch when the vehicle is shut off. Other than that. She's still a keeper.

You can not open your tailgate with out unlocking it

Must be a Canada thing or maybe a 2023 thing on the tailgate? My 2022 Frontier Pro4x(fully loaded with all the available packages) here in the states has a power locking tailgate and when I drop it the bed lights come on. As far as things I don't like... the oil filter inspection window on the front skid plate, really would have liked that being a bit bigger so I didn't have to jam my whole arm in the side to get to the filter, probably going to get aftermarket skidplates for that reason haha. Thinking about getting a replacement bumper and skid plate package from CBI Offroad fab just for the bigger oil change window...

I think the Frontier gets forgotten because Nissan doesn't spend millions in advertising so the price for value can be passed to the owner. Love my '23 Pro4X.

I bought a king cab SV and the drive felt terrible also the RPMs were so low at stops that it almost wanted to die. Also the electronics were acting screwy within a couple days. This is a brand new truck. I took it back.

With a leer cap rear view mirror is too dark. Double whammy. Front camera feature is sweet! Very basic driver assist, button locations are about the same as my Legacy. my gripe is the measly 1 mile increments instead of 5! Needs a locking gas cap. My 3 gripes. Disagree on light coming on in trunk when tail gate is open. mine auto locks -so there’s no getting in there without unlocking vehicle & some transports require the gate down if you don’t have a rack? I love this truck! Too many to list good points.

Rear view mirror - grab it and pull it down. It moves on a rod, not a single pivot point. You can make it lower. I like mine higher so I have more windshield view but give it a shot.

I’ve noticed on my truck the sparkle on the trim inside matches the sparkle in the exterior paint…when you’re in the sun..

Well first one is simple if you just fix your hands to 9-3 lol. No manufacturer setup the steering wheels for 10-2 hand positions.

I wish they would had put the Pro X badge inside the red accent in the interior doors .

My only complaint is the piss-poor turn radius and the electric seats like to self-adjust.

Main thing I miss is a rain sensing wiper.

Can someone please tell me if this truck is good in snow/hazardous weather conditions? I live in Northern Vt. and I need a reliable winter commuting vehicle.

The cup holders are terrible and flimsy
