In a sense they're all following same concept viz Multiverse. Russo Brothers killed Gamora important member of GOTG but James Gunn is directing GOTG Vol 3 It is important that marvel does it or else same director is needed for different movie for example ZACK SNYDER directed SUPERMAN MOVIE, BROUGHT BACK TO DIRECT BATMAN VS SUPERMAN AND WHEN HE TOOK LEAVE FOR PERSONAL REASONS he was replaced by Joss Whedon who had different perspectives of seeing the movie creating a chaos on DCEU.
