I'm a big fan of the roster too. Exactly like you said I love Zeta Gundam and it sucks it isn't here but i also really love some of the IBO mechs so its really cool to have those more accessable cause i don't think we've had much of that in a main line release yet
That we're getting it on the West and PC to be honest. Never played one but I know more or less what they are. As a big gundam fan i'm really looking forward to it.
I quite like how the all IBO Mobile Suits have a passive resistance to all beam weapons except GN Drive powered Mobile Suits. Its all in the little details that I like.
I came to Cross Rays for the Gundams and only the gundams as PC is bereft of Gundam games. I stayed for the pulse racing tactics, the Chibi graphics, the stellar animations and unprecedented gundam love from the developer. Full Boost and Dynasty Warriors Gundam were my fave digital Gundam experiences but this has jumped to the top of my list - nothing tops a nail biting 2 hour mission with a raid group and link attacks! Hope Bamco finally sees the Western appetite for Gundam games and bring all future Gundam titles to Steam and beyond!
Things that I hate for it doesn’t have: 1. No Alternative Universe interaction 2. No Alternative Universe special moves 3. No UC combined 4. No main story aside from the OG
Those are all totally valid points. And I agree with you. I loved G Generation DS how the whole story was this interaction between all these different characters and shows in a mix of unique environments and ones from the shows.
There maybe a chance for dome other characters and the Gundams from the other Gundam series from different alternative universes to appeared in this upcoming game as DLC content. But sadly, we might not get it since PlayStation 4 and/or Nintendo Switch may no release in the Western of USA, beside Steam of course.
This game better release for the consoles. Unfortunately, there was never or not one Gundam game that had ever been release for any Nintendo consoles in the English version for America.
I'm enjoying it so far, but to be honest, I was sort of hoping for more of a SDGGG Neo story line where the series are truly interwoven into each other.
Preordered the deluxe Edition. First SD Game i played was the one for the GBA and DS. Didnt have the Chance to Play the console titles. Is this Game AU only? cause i need my Zakus
It's AU only with the Sisquedes from the SD Gundam G Generation: Monoeye Gundams game being the only Universal Century units in the game. There ARE Zakus, but you'll have to deal with the ZAKU Warrior and ZAKU Phantom from SEED Destiny. Who knows, though: since Turn-A Gundam is showing up, maybe the Borjarnon will show up, too, since it is essentially a Zaku!

Stardust Memory, Zeta, Adv. of Zeta, ZZ, and Chars Counter attack is my shit. And OG Gundam just for Char mofockin Aznable Genesis....does not look pretty. Ive seen some gameplay of it .And the killer for me is that theres barely and i mean barely any pilot animation. Cross rays does a good job at this. But i quit already cuz, again, no intresting suits. Or pilots. Anything really. Id rather replay back my olde G.OW if i wanna throw back some more gundam action

Yeah finally a game for my college spring break! And yeah more Gundam Seed!! I loved the show growing up with it. Still a fan.. yeah I know theirs a lot of haters out there.. but I am one of those who still build the model and love the show for what it is. Do still like the Gundam Unicorn. So is looking forward to see them show up.

1:22 you shouldn't have that line of thinking in _any_ Bamco game, ever. It's true that the current lineup we have is great, but they're (as Bamco as they are) making cuts--like replacing G-Gundam from the first batch of DLCs and put in _only Age-1_ in its stead. I'm also interested in seeing where else they're making the cuts, because as anyone who have played most Bamco games over 10 years...you _know_ they're going to make other cuts somewhere. This game just looks too good to be true.
Raid group make everything a lot easier which make it good and also bad.. Its good coz farming for exp a lot easir.. Bad coz make the game too easy to beat
@@zfnresa2248 pre rendered is just a video and real time is like when you're playing a 3d game, the models, effects and textures are all being handled by your computer, real time is nice because you can mod it and in the future you can play even in 8k and look even better while pre rendered will be limited to the resolution they made it and won't look that great, the advantages of being pre rendered is run the cutscenes in any computer (the rest of the get is all in 2d as far as I'm aware) and and the game needs less files, I hope this helps

This is the first G generation game getting an official North America Launch. With world mostly becoming Digital Market driven, Bandai Namco is seeming understand that they should bring more games to NA
I got my copy of it with a voucher for all the DLC on it but the redeem said it's not of the region. Can I get a game with an voucher that is available in the US?
I assume you got a Singapore copy. It'd probably just be best for you to quicky make a singapore PSN, set your ps4 as your primary ps4 for that account, and redeem your code. That way you should be able to play all the DLC on your main account. That's what I did.
my problem with UC games is that, they tend to focus on the big ones, that we have played time and again. lets be honest here, who the hell likes to rescue reccoa time and again? in pretty much every g gen game that has that mission, it is among the worst due to how precise you normally need to play it. if anything, to this day, my favorite game in the g gen is the ds one, since it had a really fun upgrade system, was pretty balanced(aside from a few hiccups here and there) and had really fun story modes.
Mwu vs neo? Skill wise, mwu has the cool "the man who made the impossible possible" skills but neo (orb) has an extra quote about him being the hawk of Endymion
speaking of other series, while its nice that we are getting suits and characters outside of those of cross rays, but from what i have seen its like i guess 3 bucks for one or 2 suits and character. i dont know about you guys if you think this is a good or bad deal, but i'd rather have an entire expansion pack of 1 series with all of their roster of characters and suits and ost with story missions for 40 bucks, dropped once or tiwce a year
A general tip is to always use the dispatch feature. You can send out your soldiers to level up and get money without you even having to play. So set up your main team, then a couple side teams to send out.
@@kennyrmrz Another big thing is just make sure you up the difficulty ASAP. You get exorbitant amounts of money are harder difficulties so its worth the challenge - you'll be able to start buying stuff a lot sooner.
I haven't played much recent G gundam series... but when I did, my team usually consist of several gundam wing zero (no wing custom yet at that time) and several gundam DX.
Is that the sequel of the last SD Gundam game, SD Gundam G Generation Genesis? Or is it just the all new chapter of the SD Gundam video game franchise series?
Its a sequel in the sense that its the next game in the series, but its not necessarily connected story wise. The last two games have just been retellings of Gundam stories and this time we're getting most of the ones we didn't get in Genesis.
my only question is will the game be in ENGLISH? i've been waiting years for some game developer to grow a pair and try to get the license to produce a super robot wars style gundam game in english and year after year we've been cheated
I hope they let us skip cutscenes this time from the start. Its ridiculous they disabled that in G Generation. Also would love for share features to be enabled. Not sure why Namco is so uptight about letting people screenshot or share images in some Gundam titles.
Yeah overworld was the last of the series to feature a crossover type of storyline for all of the series be it UC or the AUs. After that the story mode is just mostly following the original source in an abridged way
@@GundamrussGaming I'll just get it from Amazon next year, if that's the case. Months ago, the other Gundam video games has never been got localized in the USA either. So I got them from Amazon, instead.
Japan never really got behind the Xbox for whatever reason. With the exception of a couple games, the only JP games ever released on Xbox consoles just comes to the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games and that's just because they were being released here in the west where people played Xbox, and when they decided to just do a digital release for the fourth game in the series they didn't even bother with Xbox there either.
@@GundamHQ I see. I remeber the dynasty warrior games. I owned all 3 of them for xbox. Now a see all these new gundam games on Ps4, steam and switch but no xbox. Atleast they are on steam so I can still play them
@@michaelnicoletti500 Yeah, if you look back one most all Gundam games they're all playstation consoles. PS2, PSP, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. Of course they also branc some out onto Nintendo but Xbox doesn't get much love.
By "upload custom soundtracks" does that mean I can import some of my music library into the game. Can I have my Custom Character fight guys while "Fuck Da Police" plays in the background?
Yes! You actually can do that... but you probably won't be able to upload game play videos of it online due to the swear filter and the fact that the streaming service is really nitpicky about licensed music in general.
