There's a really huge shift of environment and culture when it comes to online and teaching in person. It was nice to hear your perspective, thank you!
Good morning Jeannelle happy Friday morning and I just wanted to say that your reset vlogs is amazing and you are amazing Supporter I'm proud of you and you are gorgeous
Starting my first year in a month. Can you please recommend some lesson plan resources you used? Also how did you structure your class? For example: Attendance, warm up, activity explanation, safety rules, break into groups, do activity, last 5min debrief/review? Thanks
That’s exciting!! I do have a video about PE resources, here’s the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yYUiGlafTZE.html Next month I’m planning on doing another prep with me video before the school year starts again. If you’re interested in any PE teaching stuff it’s in a teaching tips playlist. If you’re interested in PE vlogs it’ll be in the teaching vlog playlist.
I’m nervous, I will be teaching PE next year . I honestly don’t have experience at all. Just completely honest. Also lesson plans and what activities to use per class or week. Any advice 😊
@@rogerfitness6276 you’ll do great! I do have a teaching playlist showing all PE teaching vlogs. Here’s a specific video on what I like to do the first week of school ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GXORnfpFmw0.htmlsi=ufy7TBsaMm7manwk
Your virtual yr definitely count !!!! As a secondary PE teacher in China we spent the last 4 months teaching online due to Covid-19 and online teaching is totallllllly different than in person. I prefer in person and I pray we can start the school yr on campus.
@@jeannelle_ Thank you. By the way, do you have any paras? Here in Houston, Texas, elementary schools have a main PE teacher and 2 paraprofessionals with them. So 3 adults in the gymnasium.
@@Builtdifferenthtx no I don’t have any paras. The only assistance I get is with the kinder classes when I get the kinder teacher assistants. I’m curious how many students do you guys have at once during PE?
@@jeannelle_ It can be up to 45-60 students. I graduated last year so I’m waiting for a position. Like you said in the video, PE is position not many people leave. I enjoy your channel and your content, even when it’s not related to physical education.
@@Builtdifferenthtx oh! That makes sense now! My average class size is 22-24. Yes get connected with the PE teachers, if you’re able to sub for PE teachers def do it. Thank you so much!
What advice would you give to a PE para-professional who is starting out as a first time para and working in PE? How would i best help the PE teachers?
You can talk to the PE teacher and ask what they would like. If I had a PE para I’d love for them to help with setting up the equipment if needed, making sure kids are on task with the activity, making sure kids aren’t side talking if the teacher is giving instruction, and just overall being present which will help a lot! I wish I had a para!! I’m sure they’re so grateful to have you 👏🏽💗
Hi Ricardo, I do have a prep and plan with me video I did last year. I'm planning to make another one soon for this year where I talk about the structure of my classes. However, here is the video from last year ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XfXBaBUXtNc.html
