I used to take my daughters there when they were young to the movie theatre when it was two dollar Tuesdays. My dentist, Dr. Braum, he was located there before moving to Adelaide north.

@jermiester7772 it was called Athens Mews also. I went to the movies there too a lot! It was odd once the mall was abandoned and all that was left was like one store and the movies on the 3rd floor. Then the basement level was the creepiest food court. It was so dark and brown and there was a water feature I remember. Good memories. 👍

Wortley is extremely underrated on a Canada level. Every major city I've been to has its pocket or maybe a couple streets labelled "village" but none actually are. Wortley is extremely unique and totally should attract more attention. Always thought they should add some old style street lighting to really set it off. So much more can be done with it.

I remember when woolco was at oakridge mall. You drove right past where it used to be. It had this cafeteria type little restaurant in it called strawberry street and i loved it there. My grandma always got me a chocolate egg with my name on it, written in the grossest icing
