When I was young, I grew up on a remote farm in South Africa, but my lovely mother made us 4 girls walk up and down the porch (stoep in South Africa) with books on our heads and coached us in natural posture and poise, social and table manners. To this day I am so grateful for her guidance. Simplicity is beauty - this is not a cliché, but a truth. Serenity conveys inner centeredness and confidence. It draws people to you. It's very seldom about the exterior. Beauty and poise come from within.

@@dahlrjay63maybe she means, pale is if your skin is supposed to be pale as opposed to faking a melanated complexion- it does look kind of fake, cheap, and trashy. 🤷🏽♀️
