Great advice. What's killing my rom-coms is lack of external plot. Having a strong voice, and character growth is great, but my endings are weak because there's no rewarding goal other than my dudes smooching. I need to work on the bigger story too.

Flash fiction, short story and novel writer here. Just because you have room in a novel doesn’t mean it belongs. I've seen that in published novels....why is it in there? Why is this thing 100k words then?

2:11 OK I am having some Deja vu here. I have heard these exact words in this section before on some other writing channel. I know I have. I can’t remember where. I mean maybe the words aren’t EXACTLY like what I heard before but pretty damn close. Or… maybe it was just Deja vu.
