I have so many more coming! I hate to be uncomfortable and Im always packing things as “just in case” for everyone else as well. I went three times in the past year so I’ve come up with a few good hacks 😁
We have most of these but the Mickey ear holders are my favorite! I cannot go to Disney without them. It ensures your ears are safe on rides and gives you a break if you don't want to wear them in afternoon!
This is super helpful. I'm planning a trip to universal orlando as a senior trip next summer and the wrist wrap phone holder wasn't even something I thought of. It's Genius!
What about the essentials? Sunscreen, hydration, medications for potential sickness? Filming on the ride too? This not only disrupts the experience for others but can be a serious safety concern as well! Also think about how much more immersive the ride would be if you fully embraced the experience instead of living it through a phone. Ride POVs are all over RU-vid anyways.
Everyone should already knows about those essentials, these are the things people don’t anticipate. Also I don’t want people to film on the rides either but you know they are going to anyway. I had to wait an extra half hour to get on space mountain because a guy dropped his phone and his glasses on the ride and they shut it all down to get it. I’d rather people not film, but if they are going to then I’d rather them not drop it and ruin it for everyone.
It’s very easy to miss some of these essentials when trying to remember everything to pack. Also I wouldn’t assume everyone knows what to pack, especially on their first visit. I could live without a clip for my bag as handy as that is but damn it would suck to pay a premium for essentials like sunscreen, which many forget to pack. Also there is absolutely no reason to bring a phone on a ride. A man was seriously injured and lost his vision because of someone else’s items hitting them! I can’t imagine living with myself knowing my negligence could lead to the injury of another person. That example coincidently happened at Universal too! Luckily there are stronger measures in place to prevent accidents like this in the future but even on rides that don’t pose as much of a risk, don’t ruin the experience for others. Again, enjoy the experience because you can always watch a virtual ride POV. Plenty of them on RU-vid. Saying quote: “It is so great to have some kind of chain like a wrist strap if you’re trying to film things on the ride” encourages riders to break the rules. Park goers can easily get kicked out for this, ruin others experiences, or worst of all, injure others! Instead of saying quote “if they are going to” why not use your influence to inform future park goers why they shouldn’t? Wrist straps would be handy for carrying your phone around the park though.
I am the kind of woman who hates carrying a purse in my daily life. Wallet and keys kind of chick, and whenever I go on vacation I had to morph my whole personality to accommodate a booking and all the random crap and it honestly makes me miserable for moments in the trip. I'm always thinking of ways out of it. All of these tips are fantastic and a few dropped my mouth (the water bottom thing I didn't know existed. I jist dehydrate when I'm out and drink when water is around, I wish I were kidding). I could clip that to my shorts and be done with it. This video is going to bring me all sorts of comfort on my next trip and I will be thinking of that random lady on RU-vid who took the time to help us out. Thank you! I really really mean it. A few if my own hacks: Mini sharpie Keychain things, clip em on your bag so you don't have to dig through the bookbag when you need it. Collapsible coffee cup so you can start the day with you first "free"cup of Joe, but can toss the collapsed empty in your bag when you're done instead of being stuck with an awkward metal travel mug. Fanny packs are back in style!!! There are so many great ones now. Runner stretch work out pants that have extra pockets for all the things. A carabiner clip that is tight enough to securely hold a layer you're wearing that day so instead of wasting bag space you can loop it through and clip to your bag (test the snugness in advance to find the right size, small ones for a thin layer long sleeve or so, a bigger one for a zip up Hoodie deal).
I praying to god I don’t have to take a trip to Disney, but my mother in law really wants to take the family and I’ll have to come. In this case this ideas 💡 are very helpful, but seriously why go to such a horrible place? Is extremely expensive and pack with people and taking likes to go everywhere. Even the bathroom. Why people do that to themselves?
