I found a huge old APQS Long-arm for $500. I replaced a drive belt and replaced the brushes on the motor and re-set the timing which was possible because of APQS fantastic instructional videos on doing this. I bought it because my wife has arthritis and was having difficulty with her hands cramming a quilt into the throat of her Juki. The machine has NO bells or whistles but runs like a top. I quilted several quilts for friends. Imagine my surprise when I found out that people will actually pay for you to quilt for them! This machine is The Bomb! And built like a TANK. Thank you APQS for making such a long lasting indestructible BEAST!
