I used to live there, just right in front of the castle. This is quite a nice little city if you come for pilgrimage. I would take a walk in the sanctuary almost everyday with my daughter.
I was here and absolutely love Lourdes. Mother Mary and Saint Bernadette were always on our minds over here but it was kinda of a rushed trip. You know, the usual, having flew from Singapore, we want to cover as many places as possible. So we spent only 2 days here. I definitely want to come back and spent more time here.

Thank you for sharing your video. I will go to Lourdes this September. Solo. In Pic de Jur can you stay all day up there? I want to hike and video the panoramic view. What is the transport to get there at Pic? Another video I saw the person mentioned the bus ride is free? Is that true? Thank you for your time. I can't wait.😊
I think you can stay as long as you want as you can walk up and down if you want. The Funiculaire train will have opening and closing times and is not free, but don't know about another bus going🤷♀️ Hope you will have a ton of fun and if you are still looking for accommodation with parking for your motorbike, we have a separate video with our recommendations for staying in Lourdes as well.
@@DrexelGregory Especially during the torchlight procession it was busy enough in my opinion. But until 21.00 not too crowded and very nice to experience it.....once!
