So....basically copied the PacoJet design.

Wen Chong The only thing copied from the PacoJet is the blade that goes up and down, I feel that is deceptive as all the Ninja accessories are cheap plastic/parts...I think it’s funny how they compare it with a really expensive machine to make the viewers think it’s a bargain and I also think it’s funny how I got baited the same way. The machine isn’t worth $30. I am returning mine due to the lids don’t stay on any of the 3 containers it came with, it weighs twice as much as my Vitamix and does way less! You have to push that “re-spin button 95% of the time and so what if you can make your recipe 3 minutes takes the same amount of time in the VM and you don’t have to worry about the dangerously sharp mixing blade you have to detach and reattach…not a safe unit for kids!!! Spend a little more for the VMix and you can have any frozen treat that the Creami does and comes with a better warranty! Do your own independent reasearch not off some YT channel that gets your hard earned dollars for promoting their product. Really if you were trying to sell a product your going to steer away from talking about the flaws. There are more flaws with this unit than just the noise and having to push re-spin almost every time you make something. Buyer beware!

This is 100% wrong. Pacojet no longer owns the patent for the technology that the ninja uses Ninja/Shark bought the patent and is able to incorporate it into their machine technology. There are videos on RU-vid that clearly show that these machines are 90% identical. With the exception of being able to push air into the mixture with the Paco. As well as metal containers vs plastic.

@@tinaknutsen I have a ninja creami deluxe, and I use it literally every day and literally is used correctly here. It's great and I love it. I make protein ice cream, I can have a pint in the half for less than 200 calories and it tastes like a frosty. It's great!

And that is a bad thing?...

A complete waste of money. Making ice cream at home is not economical at all. What you are going to spend in ingredients and time to make such a small amount is absolutely ridiculous. Expect to see these at a very reduced price because it's just not worth it. Go to the store and buy some premium ice cream. Don't go to Cold Stone or Marble Slab. They are just as outrageous in price because, well, the cost of the ingredients. Don't drink the kool-aid.

I like to know what’s in my food, so I don’t mind the extra expense. Not everything’s about the almighty dollar. Also, some families enjoy doing things together. SMH

you can make same quality ice cream without those techy machines that all they do is blend. they do not even freeze the ice cream.
