Love Jesus and country? Music to my ears. My wife and I are considering Nashville and some other cities (we are from NY). But, what's concerning is that tons of Californians and New Yorkers are moving there. Would you happen to know if these folks are mostly conservative or liberal? I would hate to leave woke NY for what many are calling the next Austin TX. Just curious to hear if the folks heading out there share values similar to mind (God, family, country, etc.). I absolutely love Nashville and Williamson County, but I'm absolutely terrified that we will get what we are escaping -- woke mind virus that I would like to protect my child from. Man that’s a great question , I’ve noticed that the majority of people moving here from out of state share the same conservative values which is great, it’s almost like God is consolidating his people. I too am originally from New York , and I know a lot of native Tennesseeians were worried about that as well, it’s definitely not been the case. Nashville is fine if you like getting drunk and one night stands. I had three roomates over a period of 10 years. Their main area of interest was coming home drunk, dragging home whoever they could find at whatever bar they came from. My last roomate brought some guy home. Just before she dragged him to her room, she asked him what his name was. The other thing to do in Nashville is work at some dead ass, boring job your entire life so by the time you are 55 you develop Altzenheimers from lack of doing anything meanful. But don't worry, there are lots of hospitals and nursing homes here for you. I have a friend who is 45 and convinced her life is over That's how bad this town is
It's OK. My husband wanted to move back here because he was dying from cancer. My LTR likes it here too. He is from Sweden. It's true what I said, most people he works with think Sweden is the capital of Switzerland, located close to Botswana or North Korea. NASHVILLE IS OK. LOW CRIME, LAID BACK BUT AFTER THAT THEY NEED SOMETHING BESIDES HOSPITALS, NURSING HOMES. The Ryman Auditorium and all the bars are OK but I'm not into that. Nashville needs to have more mentally stimulating places.
Yeah. Why buy a home here at that price? No place to go, no culture,etc. I am planning on moving to Europe so I can escape Nashville. Living here is like serving a life sentence in prison with NO PAROLE
