@justalexlol_ The circles on the sneaker have a Pop out 3D on the Uppers on the Spiderverse 2.0. If you look at them with 3D glasses, you can see the details and make sense to the movie. I used to hate this sneaker before the Shock Drop. Once I studied the sneaker then I had to appreciate the details of them. Very smart design team. Most people don't like the blue and yellow circles and the cardboard like material on them. But it was a terrific concept that makes perfect sense on why they added that material with the circles. I didn't notice it until I put on 3D glasses and saw the pop outs of the circles. It has a 3M type vibe to them when wearing the glasses. Pretty dope.
They basically look like that because miles morales glitches when he isn’t in his universe and the shoes get mixed up with other universes versions of the shoe
They’re also the exact pair miles wears In the movie, I didn’t notice it till the end. Where the designs lined up perfectly. Ya also get a shot of the Next films Jordan’s.
In all honesty, Origin Story is furthest away from being a canon accurate shoe. It's more of just 'inspired.' If you look back frame by frame for Into the Spiderverse, Miles wore 2013 Chicago highs. Maybe even fake/rep 2013's, as it had red soles, with red jumpman on the tongue, but no 'Air' text and no jumpman on the heel. Miles might've also custom painted his midsole stitching black If you wanna buy authentic quality shoes that's canon accurate, the Next Chapters is your shoe. His Chicagos glitch to Next Chapters near the end of the 2nd movie. First appearance at the stairs, where Uncle Aaron leads Miles to the rooftop. The shoes are even more clear when he's tied to the punching bag and being hoisted up. The released Next Chapters' Air Jordan wings logo is a bit different though compared to their 3d billboard ad
Still waiting for someone that has these in hand, to put on a pair of Real D glasses to see if the circles have any effect. I don’t have these in hand yet to try it!! Those circles are in a 3D pattern. Those circles are in parts of the Spider-Man trailer/movie. The movie will be viewed in Real D XD or IMAX for the best experience!! Nobody has tried it yet!! 🤷🏾♂️
