Thanks posting! I didn't realize that closings were that quick. Also, I love the idea of renting for a bit before buying a home so that I'm more familiar to the new lifestyle.
Thanks Thomas! Yes, closings happen very quickly. Those 30 days go by extremely fast. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@SeanUyehara This is a great idea, what are the requirements / good ideas or any direction to rent a house before buying one? Where is a good place to find houses for rent?
@@DD-wv4gt I think some of the things to consider as far as where a good place to rent would be 1. Your budget 2. Your commute to and from work 3. Type of property you are looking for (single family home, condo, high rise, etc) 4. Your commute to your necessities (gym, grocery store, daycare, etc)
Sean, we are here now on vacation, have been driving around and looking around at communities and getting ideas, talking to Ohana who live here. Live in WA state right now, own a home there, but would like to move down this way for retirement. Don’t be surprised if we start corresponding with you to start our dream to settle and buy our dream retirement home. 🤙🏽 shootz!
Henderson is the best place to live. We used to lived in Southern Highlands but we had bad experience so we decided to buy another house at Seven Hills, Henderson. We like living in Seven Hills. Good place to live.👍🙏
Your info is very helpful. Even though I am very familiar with Henderson and its climate, it helps me to hear tips from someone who actually lives there. Thank you! I am considering moving there- or somewhere else in the Vegas area- sometime in the near future. Since I live in Riverside, California, this wouldn’t be so much of a culture shock for me, because of the similar climate, plants, landscape and building structures. Wishing you many more subscribers!
Hello my name is Aisha and I'm moving to Henderson from the Midwest in March 2021! I'm so glad I came across you! Thank you much!! I can't wait to exercise and enjoy the pools. Lol
Another great and helpful video, thanks! We will definitely be in touch for realtor referrals very soon, as well as getting ideas on furnished places to rent until we buy.
Clark County is an interesting place me being from California. No state income tax, gas prices are pretty low, incentives for small business owners to start up a business, etc. The number 1 concern I have living in Clark County is the Healthcare. I live in the Bay Area and when I needed an operation, there are a variety of specialist all over California where in Nevada you're limited.
I'm a college student in North Cal (Bay Area), how hard would the adjustment be moving to Vegas you think? California's high cost of living is really frustrating, and so I've been exploring other semi close areas to move too out of college.
I came from Hercules in the bay area. My gf and i moved to Vegas November 2019. We are so happy with our decision and can't imagine moving back. We bought a new build home, 3 bed 2 1/2 bath in southwest las vegas and our mortgage is the same price as our rent in a 1bed 1bath apartment in the bay area.
Thanks Loren, I appreciate it! Oh man you moved here at the bottom of the market. There are so many programs to help first time home buyers right now. We're here for ya if you want to see what your options are
Hey so me and my husband are planning to relocate to Las Vegas, maybe in between February-May of next year, what are some requirements you have to have in order to buy our first home?
Try to work on your credit, you want to be at least above a 580. Make sure you have a two year working history and work on paying down any debt. Try to keep credit card balances under 30% of your max credit line. Save up for a down payment, you don't need 20% down, but every little bit helps.
Aloha just a few things... what kind of family things to do there with younger ones (toddlers and 5 yrold) and is Henderson safe - which area is safest? Mahalo
Hi Sabrina there are lots of parks to take your children to. With COVID, i'm not sure if many of the play facilities for children are open. But there are definitely activities for the younger ones. Yes, Henderson is a great neighborhood to consider. Do you currently live in Las Vegas?
I am trying to convince my friend to move to vegas. She lives in central coast and not surrounded by houses like most of the videos you have shown. Is it possible to find a house that is not in a community setting? Ranch? Surrounded by land you can grow things? (I know this is a desert). What is the best way to find those properties? Safe area if away from community? Thanks.
Christian, remember we do have programs that can cover your down payment if the NV home will be your primary residence. You may already have the funds needed to purchase.
@@SeanUyehara oh awesome! I definitely wanna have a nice little cushion for when I move there and job hunt. I was wondering how job searching is from one state to another. Would I need to already be a resident or on my way to becoming one to get a job?
@@chrispytacos No not at all. There are quite a bit of people relocating here and employers are a lot more understanding when it comes to those that are relocating
Thanks I planning to visit Henderson with my son this summer, to see if we can move there but I don't like hearing car accidents, are people drunk driving?
@@SeanUyehara lol...no I get the 9th island thing. I just don't get the Henderson thing? We moved from Hawaii to Vegas but chose the NW area. One sister has a half acre in centennial hills neighborhood and one sister has a home in summerlin next to Costco. I'm guessing its less expensive in Henderson in general.
