dude this was really helpful, i was about to look up the refund policy for hostinger because it’s really not intuitive and the theme/templates did not meet my needs. the drag and drop extensions tip is a HUGE help

Hey man! Thanks. I signed up for web hosting thinking I was buying a license to use the Wordpress app. I signed up on the 27th and canceled just now. They did give a partial refund of $39; so it cost my $9.00 for 2 days service. Kinda steep, eh? Anyway thanks, again. You earned a subscription, a like, and a comment.

Thanks, I hope most of the plug ins and stuff mentioned are still relevant today. Also suggestion, maybe just have written names for important things that you say e.g the plug ins as it might not be so easy for non English speaker

bit confused about security plugins. if i'm building a site on wordpress in a local environment, and exporting it to github to get hosted by netlify, i would just need to setup 2 factor authentication on those two sites right? i currently dont have a password for the local wordpress site. would that matter when i export it?

It's about as user friendly as you can get for a low code customisable website although I am curious what you find better besides Wix and other propietary website builders with limited functionality? Do you prefer to pay for a site built from scratch?

Hi! I have an issue with WordPress. I have bought web template from envato. I installed it and then pressed on customize, then I was shocked to see a simple web model with retro cars collection. I thought that the author of that web template was a scam, but then I tried to customize the web templates from WordPress itself and then the same thing happened there: Retro car collection (text: "some of our Favorite Cars, from classic to modern".) However with some other templates there's no problem about it and they're working fine. Is it some kind of a default function of WordPress or what? Hope you can help me.

Hope you got this sorted out. That sounds like demo content. You want to delete the pages the Envato theme has created. The idea with the demo content is that you have a layout you can swap out and edit if you're not going to spend time learning to customise it/ pay a developer.

That should be really simple in WordPress! You may be able to do most of what you want with the default theme (Twenty-Twenty Four). You could also explore a theme like Kadence. You might enjoy my free course on building a WordPress site at craylor.academy
