Maybe I should call it a Wish List?
I've had the Mavis for about 2 months now.
I love the form factor and it's challenging me to shift my thinking when it comes to working with synthesizers in music.
I easily gravitate towards the keyboard to express my ideas, but the Mavis really asks to be played in more unconventional ways.
It's more about the pure connection with sound, rather than traditional musical ideas. It can achieve BOTH, but as a standalone unit, it's a wonderful sonic notebook.

I thought the Mavis should have had the wave folder be freely patchable. Then you could put it after the filter or wherever you like (wave folding the filter in self oscillation for example). That and having sine or triangle available on the oscillator, so the wave folder has something it can really “fold”.

i always love the editing and detail in your videos… a fuzzy and warm feel, somehow edit: re: battery power, i wonder if Moog stick to a vintage VCO design (in the Matriarch, say) that has power requirements that can’t be met with batteries. i suspect re-engineering it to run on AA batteries would be blasphemous to some

4:30 you could patch a random sequence with LFO>S&H>1V/oct. Sad that it does not have noise output and a quantizer (using the keys), both would have been easy to implement. For me the patch bay of the Mavis is too limited and it lacks some utility so that it is not great as a stand alone instrument.
