Actually 5 cars took off at Le Mans. During the 1999 edition, Mark Webber already flipped a Mercedes CLR during qualification. The day of the start he again flipped the replacement Mercedes CLR during the warm-up and withdrew. Mercedes started the race despite the take-offs. Only when Peter Dumbreck also took off during the race - as shown in the video - Mercedes withdrew, never to return again.
250 mph??? That is 402kmh noope ...the fastest ever Driving at le mans was before the chikanes was added and they reach a speed around 380 kmh and the fastest reached a speed around 400 but not more...and this Mercedes u show us here was in 1999 around 10 years after they add the chikanes and they reached a max speed of 350 kmh...and there was not many cars that reach that speed so...400 kmh nope...
Seeing this as decades long 24h Le Mans fan was a waste of time. A lot of pointless talk covering randomly mixed szenes of so called "Cars Airborne in Le Mans", eg. the included 1998 Porsche GT1 Yannic Dalmas Airborne accident (5:15ff) was one of the 1998 "Petit Le Mans Race" in Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, USA. Any questions?
You say "The Ferrari turns LEFT into the Toyota." He turned RIGHT into it. You also claimed the TOYOTA RUNS INTO THE FERRARI. You twit, the FERRARI obviously ran into the Toyota! Get your act together.
