Totally understand that pain man. I had the same problem but trust me, go get those scadutree fragments. Go level up that 2-3 times and come back. It will feel like a completely new fight I promise Also, W for the Ichigo pfp

Bro I feel you. I'm level 160 something, Scadutree 5 but because I'm on NG+ she still absolutely destroys me.

I would recommend continuing to explore the map for more scadutree fragments! You can unlock so much of the map without beating any bosses... once you get a couple more levels, come back and try again

Not a lot of people mention it but I learned the hard way if you skip the castle to get the shadow tree shards you’ll inadvertently end up progressing the story which can ruin a handful of questlines

I think that only happens if you talk to NPCs and/or beat bosses past Rellana Sorry to hear about the quest lines :( I only did the mother of fingers questline… really cool and you shouldn’t be locked out of it

I gave a guess for why the original poster had their problem. I am not sure the exact reason why unfortunately. I’m sure there are many guides on RU-vid for quest lines and such that will explain what happens if you go and do certain things before you are “supposed” to do so

Thanks for this guide. I come close to killing her then start to panic towards the end but at least now I know to use frost. I’ve only managed to get my scadutree fragments to 4.

Frost helps so so so much. That extra damage that occurs once you get enough frost hits in is huge! Also, be patient on that last phase as best you can. I beat her with my Fragment level at 5... Dont be afraid to explore the map a little and come back one you get the fragment level a little higher too :)

Lightning Great katana+giant hunt+opaline/pointy tear tears through both her health and poise. Really fun boss though, probably my second favorite of the ones I’ve done thus far

Thank you for the suggestion, hopefully it helps someone else out! :) I think the bosses were great. I love the difficulty and uniqueness for each one. They did a great job with the DLC

First try I got her to 10% and thought to myself, hmm this is not too hard. Took me almost 10 times after that to even get close to that point again....

Yup! Because now you know the moveset and try to overcompensate rather than just play loose and relaxed. There’s a mental part to boss fights too! Fun! 😂

Every boss is different, especially there moveset and timings of when to attack them. Depending on the build of your character, each boss will be different in difficulty for you personally :)

LOL all the bosses have some sort of quirk that is so annoying. But to me, I love the grind and the frustration. It feels so great when we beat a boss! :) Best of luck and don’t give up!!

Yup, Mimic is always the safest strategy. However, I wanted to make a guide for people who dont prefer to use summons Everyone's playstyles are different :)

I know it can be frustrating, it made me mad too!! Try and take some breaks, dont just continuously fight her for hours, you will just be too stressed to focus! Come back another time, try and evaluate what you could do better (not panic roll, shield more, etc...) and take deep breaths. Focus is everything! Best of luck! :)

Uchigatana +25 with Double Slash ash of war with Frost Quality Any shield that gives you 100% Physical Damage negation I think my talisman were the following, but I forget their names and I’m not at my computer: - raises HP to the utmost - greatly increases stamina recovery speed - reduces physical damage by the utmost - improves guard ability Last talisman slot is up to you… maybe more stamina, or negation to magic, or jump attack improvement etc… Wondrous Flask had the improve stamina recovery speed and break poise easier I believe !
