The iPhone LUTs I used in this video 👉🏼 store.christianmategrab.com/products/iphone-lut-collection (Now includes LUTs for standard rec709 footage as well as for Apple ProRes LOG)
Im so thankful you explained everything with that eerie background music and monotone vocals. No fake over the top enthusiasm. This is how every content creator should be formatting their videos. 💯
Awesome tips! Just changed to log setting and lowered the exposure and already noticed a pretty big difference. Looking forward to trying out the Brandon Li collab with Smallrig to take it to the next level!
Hey Chris! I bought your luts but when used on Blackmagic Camera it looks pretty different, can you do a guide on how to setup for that app? That could be awesome to take advantage of the luts, thanks!
Nur mal so aus interesse :D Ist die Stimme gecloned mit AI? Das Voice Over klingt ziemlich gut aber es hat so ein zwei characteristics von einem AI Voice Over. Aber sonst super hilfreich 🙏
Subscribed ! Question(s). Can a 1tb iPhone 15 bypass the need to film with an SSD on the camera body and just off load the 1TB to the SSD when it’s full? And then you’d just need a 1tb iPhone and an attachment for an ND filter and use Blackmagic and internal LUT? If so I’m getting one today!
Da Vinci Resolve is free and rivals Final Cut or Premiere. Not sure how different the free version is to the paid version, but the free version may still give you some options regarding LUTs and color grading.
One question, what characteristic should the hard drive have to connect it to the iPhone so that the information remains there when recording and not on the cell phone?
so if nobody knows I can tell you 😉 it's the pro voice clone made in elevenlabs, you need to provide around 3 hours of talking samples and they fine tune it within 2 weeks
Epic one man! What about if your color LUT is on a base layer (adjustment) and you then need to change color correction on individual clips. If I retouch each individual clip it's gonna look "shit". Does this mean I need to apply the out on each clip instead and the color correction above?
you can totally do this, just make sure that your LUT sits on top of the clip and make all adjustments before like color board and color wheels etc. in FCPX it's more "below" than "on top" so the LUT should be the last one in your effects list.
Hi, have you filmed in 24fps with it, too? Heard from others that it looks somehow shaggy on theirs. However, filming in 24fps would be crucial for me. What is your experience with that on the 15 Pro?
I bought your LUT but I'm not sure why I can't get the color that I see in your video, I use IPProMax 15 and set it ProRes in Log but still the cloudy cover from ProRes Log footage is still there, I am waiting for it to look like in 0:51, I need help. I'm new to Davinci
Wait my usual use case is to record my kid and my family making memories. Should I do all these to make the video files future proof or maybe its not worth it and only good for people who are profesdional?
I need help! I’m trying to recreate the blur, bokeh effect of your video. I know that you need certain lens when shooting with a camera but in this case, since you shoot on iPhone, it seems you add it in post. How can I do it myself??
@@cmg what leaded you to add the blur in post instead of using cinematic mode on the iphone ? love all your content, sorry if the question sounds silly, but I'm really confused about using cinematic mode or the blackmagic app to keep the 180 degree rule ...
@@dankof Cinematic Mode on the iphone has nothing to do with the motion blur - it only adds a "fake" shallow depth of field to your image digitally like you would get from a f1.4 lens for example. When I shoot with the regular iphone camera app there is no real control of shutter angle or speed so for me its easier to add motion blur in post production (I am using a plugin called "Real smart motion blur" to do this). This way I don't have to keep the 180° shutter or double the frame rate shutter speed.
no, you really can't add blur or bokeh in post (I was talking about motion blur in the comment below). when you shoot cinematic mode on your iphone it adds a fake blurry background like you would get from a fast aputure lens like f1.4 but its not "real". on the other hand if you use the telezoom lens like 3x on the iPhone you already get some kind of bokeh.
@@cmg oh man, huge thanks for replying and for the great information shared :) I guess it is a "must" to block always AE/AF prior so start shooting on the native app ?
..and what about shutter? Speed? 24 fps - 48 shutter....25 fps - 50 shutter? Video from IPhone is the only for internet...no TV and cinemas...Filmic Pro and Blackmagic App - solutions....
Whoa! Slow down. Your shots of the iPhone screen are NOT readable, you speak too fast to follow and your accent is hard to understand. NOT a good tutorial.
