Way to use your creativity to make a super fun intro to your video! I really love when essentially a list, can make you laugh. Even after using the “squeegee method” with my paint tubes, I cut those them open and use a spatula to get the remaining paint out. In the past, no matter how much I have “squeegeed“ my paint tubes, which I go to the extreme and use scissors to press the paint all the way down to the opening, pressing so hard it literally leaves the tube clear and paint free except for that last inch near the opening. I find when I cut that tube open there’s at least a half an ounce that I couldn’t get out no matter how hard I tried.
Ah!! That’s good to know! I’ll have to start cutting them open too! Thank you for the kind feed back about the intro! lol. I couldn’t help myself. I’m already thinking of a goofy infomercial intro for a Dutch pour one. 😂
I am loving this " Cell Technique " is it the floetrol that causes it? I saw another video of yours that used silicone.. I've done the same effect on my projects using epoxy and dish soap to make bubbles once hit with a heat source but this! looks 10Xs easier.is the floetrol in all the paint or just the swipe paint?
Floetrol is in all these paints! Silicone is in usually the base colors but for this one it was in the swipe color! So this art is lumped in the pour painting or fluid art category! And “cells” are one of the main things people are going for with this type of art. So there are sooo many different recipes and techniques, it’s amazing! I personally have found the ratio of one part paint to 4 parts floetrol with some water (for consistency if needed) and then a few drops of silicone. I have another short video “How to Mix Pour Paint” that explains it and gives visuals! I’m such a visual person. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2-z7JsyNPOY.html anyways, pour painting is definitely a fun art form to try! They even make pre mixed pour paints at hobby lobby and Michaels. I haven’t quite been able to get big cells with those paints yet, so I like to mix my own. Plus it’s way cheaper if you’re in US to use floetrol with paint cuz it’s about $14/gallon at Home Depot. Anyways, let me know if you ever have any questions!!
