It is what it is. We use them all the time. Cheap & safe. Bring a personal item sized correctly. We are 3 that travel together. We have always sat together.
Omg you are so amazing. Keep posting more about spirit. I'm debating if I should get the the savers club. I have a hm in the state I travel, so I normally travel 4 or 5 times a year. Without bags. Should I joined?
It's really only good if you do their packages for example pick your seat, priority boarding, carry on, etc... I did it two year saved some but not enough to keep it going. If you are loyal to them and fly them 90% then it might be worth it. Just remember it's non refundable and it'll auto renew each year 😉
1. Only fly direct, 2. Imagine absolutely everything that they can upcharge you..then add some more, 3. If your plane gets cancelled, don't expect to catch another flight until the next day. 4. Seats suck.
I’ve watched quite a few Spirit videos since I’ve discovered I have accumulated over 50,000 points. Yours is the most informative! It’s been years since I dare to fly again 😮
I flew frontier a year ago to Vegas. I had a wonderful time. Then it was time to return to the airport. A yahoo saw fit to separate me from my phone as I tracked my Uber. Stole it right from my left hand. Frontier was kind enough to print my boarding pass free. The taxi driver from the airport to my car, not so much understanding.
Re water. Take an empty bottle in your personal bag and fill at the airport. In Louisville, Ky., you'll get Pure Tap --- a tongue in cheek reference to their really good tap water.
Please tell me which airline charge for carry ons? I fly all the time on Delta, American, United, Southwest, etc... never have to pay extra for a carry on except on budget airlines like Spirit, Frontier etc...
Are they bigger than 18 x 14 x 8 inches? If so they might ding you and make you check them or pay... Spirit is always looking for a way to make you pay more $$. Good luck! Have an awesome flight
I saw that we had to pay for seats at Spirit. How do we avoid having to pay for the seats do we just let them choose for me and my bf who will be traveling with?
Yep if you don't pay for anything but the flight. You get to take a backpack and that's it. Then they will sign you seats. If you book together they normally 99% of the time, put you together. Hope this helps
Man American delta vs spirit even with carryon is way cheaper, even picking seats getting big seats 1 checked bag, is still substantially cheaper than AA or delta random seats
@@Zachus i did look i got 2 tickets with big seats and a carryon for 700 dollars round trip and taking the same for Delta and American and other major airlines were all 1100+, only one that was close to comparable was southwest which didn't have a nonstop flight to fll or mia, from ord or mke, and all the other would not let me pick seats or upgrade
Are you comparing Spirit Big Seats with Delta/American First Class? Because that's not apples to apples. $700 for Spirit?? I thought I paid a lot at $500... insane! or you mean $700 for 2 or $350/each? It's $1100 to fly to MKE at Basic? That doesn't make sense. I just looked this up and First Class is $700 on American/United and Delta for ORD to MKE... Maybe the dates you are picking, but I'd look at that more... Anyways, enjoy your flight and trip!
@@Zachus well it was MKE to FLL, ended up changing at no cost to ord to fll but yea big seats round trip was 348 per person and exact same date 10/29-11/4 for delta using mke or ord nonstop to fll or mia was 550 per person for just a seat not a specific seat or upgrade and right now a quick search gives 400 for delta but its not direct with a 6 hr layover
If you have a carry on, then you get this automatically. If you don't then it's just a matter if you want to get on the plane faster. I would say Priority Security is worth way more because you can skip the long lines if your airport offers that.
You can only buy Wifi once on-board. Use the Spirit app and on your phone connect using Settings > Wifi to the Spirit Wifi you see. Sometimes you have to wait till you are in the air. Then you can purchase a package to on board. The prices vary based on route and length...
In the near future, I’m thinking, there will be a required certain weight for the passengers. If they go over the limit, tpassengers will pay just like the luggages.
