hello I am thinking of getting dwarf white shrimp as live feed for my aquarium(hoping that the fish eat the babies and leave the adults) should I keep them in a separate tank or chuck them in the aquarium with the rest of the fish? thanks

You will love it. There is always something going on in my shrimp tank, they are all so busy all of the time. When you spot a baby shrimp for the first time, you will be so excited! I can sit for hours just watching them, way longer than I do with my regular fish aquariums.

55 gallon tank in a house without AC. How do you suggest to keep the temperature in the mid-60's in Michigan?

I never do water changes and have unlimited neocaradina. Changes in parameters are terrible for shrimp. No chemicals, no adding minerals. Full of plants, snails, leaves, a few nano fish and never have an issue. This guide was way too complex

So having fancy tigers in my nano with pigmy corys, chilli rasboras, and cod’s isn’t a good idea since it’s he fish need warm water 73-75 and shrimp cooler water. Well this sucks

Shrimp can do those temps. They will have a faster metabolism, breed more often and possibly tend toward having more males( some research shows cooler temps make for more females bring born - @shrimplyexplained has a video on this). But again - fine with higher temps. Maybe check the supplier parameters to buy from those who keep warmer tanks to help your new shrimps adjust to your tank.
