The last tip is definitely the most important to us.. I don't know why people are so quick to try and steal work or clients from others or to treat everyone around them as competition, if you work together on everything, you can share and recommend each other for work whilst being able to offer amazing bigger and better projects, plus you won't be alone which makes it even more worth it!! 💙💙

Maybe I'm repeating myself, I definitely repeat myself in the comments, but I can't help but mention how positively surprised I am every time. Every video of yours is helpful and each time I learn something I haven't encountered before or haven't had time to delve into further. Collaborating and working with others is a great idea and it's something I've always supported and emphasized. There's a lot to be learned and knowledge should be shared rather than being stingy and keeping it to oneself. Respect once again for everything you do.

Wow Jacques, this is brilliant! So much here that I need to watch it again! What I love about your channel is 2 simple things that possibly a lot of people don't think are important. 1. You never use bad language in your videos. You won't believe how impressed I am with that. To me it shows character. 2. I get the feeling that you actually "like" your viewers! Recently came across this young creator gaux. He is super humble, super creative and very intentional with every shot he takes. I would someday love to connect with creators like yourself, learn and improve my skills as a creative. Already congrats on 300K! I think I started following you when you had just 2K subs or so. From the beginning I was convinced your channel is highly under valued and I was sure you'd become way bigger if you just kept going. OMG I LOVED this video Jacques! ❤ All the tips and all the filmmakers featured. I totally agree with you! I'm a solo creator and my problem is that I don't have other filmmaker friends to work with or hang out with. It can be quite lonely plus is harder to create content alone. I moved to Bali a few months ago and one of the reasons was because I wanted to meet other creatives for all the things you mentioned. I love your channel and I always learn a lot from you. I teach photography on my youtube channel but I'm so passionate about filmmaking. THANK YOU

I thank you for your summary. I unconsciously followed similar principles, but you gathered simple but important knowledge into one. Valuable tips and I can't agree more with your last tips about working with other people that re better than you.
