A few added tips: I have a custom button for crop mode & I re-mapped the record button (as I use the shutter button) so that I could get one more custom button! I toggle between manual and aperture priority with the exposure compensation dial all the time. Great tips!
Hi quick question: got my a7cii now :) but hesitant between either a second hand sigma 35mm f2 or the sony 35mm f1.4 GM as my daily driver for street, environmental portraits and travel. Which one would you pick if you'd had the choice?
Honestly for everything you mentioned the Sigma 35 f2 is perfect. I’m currently in the process of selling my 35mm 1.4 GM because while the image results are perfect, it’s just too heavy on the A7C for me personally
This video was perfect timing for me. I've just ordered an A7Cii and 50mm 2.5. My decision to go for the A7Cii was mostly down to the awesome content you've produced on this channel. I'll get the 24mm next but need to wait a bit to soften the financial hit! Honestly, thank you for producing some incredible work and such useful videos.
I found myself using the auto mode (A7CII and A7RV) most of the time. I'm lazy...LOL. The out of camera results are pretty good to my eyes. All I do in post is play with contrast and such. These new Sony cameras are pretty amazing.
Thank you for your tips and videos, always a pleasure to see them. The a7cr has 8 fps, do you feel the lack of the 2 fps compared to the a7c's 10 fps or do you not consider it a lack?
I mention and link multiple times in the video to my videos going over the exact settings I use! Toward the beginning and end… or just go to my channel hahaha
Appreciate the work and effort, lovely photos and very inspiring. I purchasedan a7cr after watching your recent videos. I have a question: the camera makes a noticeable vibration and wobbling sound when turned on, is that normal? Its like a kick inside the body. Or should I get another copy?
Thanks so much for your videos, I finally found a way to take widescreen photos. But I found that when I connected the memory card to a computer to read it, the photos displayed were still in full-frame proportions. Is there any way to directly record widescreen photos?
I’ve been trying to make more recently. Next video will be a Photowalk! The goal is to have at least every other video for the rest of the year be a photo walk!
composition > the fact that you know the way to setup your camera(so you can use auto). These days every camera you could pick is decent and you need to know only few basic stuff in order to shoot, more important is the composition... that's why there are good photographers that use only an iphone.
Yeah like those iphone "photographer" only show up 10 images per year and they become "pro" why other took milions show like 50k photos and you guy just "meh!"
