It's been 4 weeks almost 1 month since I started learning Korean officially but now I can read well... just my vocabulary isn't that's great... like I read the whole sentence but then I don't know the meaning of it😅 so how can I improve my vocabulary?
Hi hope you've improved a lot by this time. My suggestions regarding vocab is to start learning words of everyday usage. Rather than learning from a textbook or your course practice book(from wherever you're learning now) I suggest you to not start with random words that we don't use often. (Of course at the end of it all, we should know more words to have diverse conversation but for the start) Whatever you speak with your family and friends, take note of it and learn Korean words for them first. Next you go to Korean variety shows or youtube shows like Pooh said. The best thing about them is the Korean captions they provide. (You can learn from dramas too. But they don't have captions. And they're more scripted) So you can spend sometime just for the purpose of learning, choose your favourite show, keep a notebook and write all the new words in those captions (you know what I mean. Some are directly what they speak, some are editor's funny comments added). I suggest this because they're actual nonscripted conversation. This is just for the start. To have a casual conversation in korean. (In fact you'll find this is more than enough to speak, because we humans in all the languages, use only few words the most per week) After you're accustomed to speaking casually well with confidence, you can choose diverse topics or from your textbooks to learn more vocab. The priority is to speak. We're not professors or debaters who need subject knowledge. First we should be able to speak normal stuffs.
@@iamacaratstayingonapurpleg6059 omg thank you🥺 I'm so moved my all your efforts..... I'll try my best to follow all the different ways you give to self study Korean.☺
싶어요 - means: want to see (also used to mean you're missing something/ someone) This might be a good word to practice the eo sound! Hope it helps make you feel a little better to say a whole word!

Unnie I have a little confusion about this one 'ㅌ' specially for taehyung 😅 I pronounce it as THAEHYEONG but one of my friend was saying it's wrong I should pronounce like TAEYUNG so is it T or TH?? Actually I'm Bengali and I found many similarities between these 2 languages pronounciation. So I'm confused does it sound more like থ or ত
