Hello. Thank you. Interesting video. :-) I'm from Czech Republic. The Czech league is missing in FIFA21. So I started realistically in Poland. With Bialystok I won the Polish league twice and I played a group of the European league twice. Then I went to play for Utrecht. In 3 seasons I made him a competitor for Ajax and I even won the European League. I went from Utrecht to train Arsenal and won the Champions League. I started again and tried to return Huddersfield to the Premier League. In the first season I finished 8th in the league. Although I had to sell some important players, I was able to strengthen and I found several juniors. I have 2 scouts. 4 stars and 5 stars. I think that if the team is willing to invest, it can have quality scouts. Many otherwise weaker teams have excellent youth. The team has financial problems. So now I sold Pipa to Benfica, which was my dearest and best player (23 old and 78 raiting). I'm playing season 2 now. I'm fighting to advance to the Premier League. I bought a player for the team only 3-4 points above my best. For example, in the first season, my best player had a rating of 75. At the beginning of the club about 72. By the second season, I brought a stopper with a rating of 77. I found players between 18-27 years old. I'm trying to raise wages. I always did it in FIFA21. I sold players when I didn't need them. In Watford, for example, I received a lot of offers for my players from larger clubs. I refused. As I said. I raised my salaries. Plus, I've always been successful. The players had no reason to leave. I also got Wattford to the top of PL. But there, right after advancing to PL, I received about 100 million euros. Quite unrealistic. I used a large part to increase salaries. So back to the Huddersfield. I'm thinking now. I regularly scout other European leagues, where players actually want to play Champ and PL. I decided to scout even the best PL teams, where, on the contrary, a lot of players will not get space to play. I can sign players like Bakayoko, Pessina, Bernardeschi. 79-81. I scouted Atalanta or Juve contract ending players. My current best player is 78. It's quite a shock to me. I haven't had such a rebuild option yet. Of course, I would offer all new players a lower salary. But a bonus for advancing to PL would allow me to raise the salary of everyone on the team. So new reinforcements would not be overpaid. Of course, a lot of players will take on a key role in a weaker team for good money. Only Pessina has the potential, he is 24 years old. Otherwise, Bakayoko and Bernardeschi are 27 years old. I have young talents in the team, so I will stay in PL with these players and I have the potential to play for at least the European League in 2-3 seasons. In addition, my juniors can grow to the top in 2-3 seasons and I can have a team at the top of it's strength and potential and I can win the European League. Ideal time then quit and go to another club. Of course, I can't think whether Bakayoko, for example, would really step down from 90,000 per a week to 55,000 and join an ambitious team. If he could play for another team playing European cups from Chelsea. However, it is no longer a big star. What do you think? :-) It's great chance for rebuild. And it definitely looks better than signing superstars. A lot of players from big clubs then go to average because they lack performance. One thing I always do to try and keep it realistic is set the transfers to Strict and have my starting budget in line with whichever division I'm beginning in.

I've seen that you can offer for a end of contract or a free agent but you should be offering 75% of their value as a signing on fee to keep it more realistic

Increase injury sliders if you're playing games bc u never get injuries

I have been playing manual controls on Fifa since 12... put it on professional or world class settings, and you will never get bored... that pin-point go ahead pass on manual will make your day

No one's career mode is ever realistic. No one would ever play a career mode with like Blackburn and stay mid table championship for the entire duration.

Usually clubs have a scouting range too. Buying from similar leagues and clubs more often

Things I do: 1) limit the rating and amount of scouts I’m allowed. If progressing through the English leagues, I start at a 1* rated scout increasing for each promotion. Each cup/league win unlocks an additional scout, which I then reset to 1 scout when reaching the premier league 2) choose a different formation for each save 3) set squad composition requirements e.g. 25% of the squad must be older than 28, and 75% of the total squad must be English. Basically, this affects how you build squads and the restrictions mean you don’t end up with overpowered squads after 2 seasons :)

The best way to make it more realistic is to start with shit clubs and to keep your goals realistic. I just started a new career at Paris FC and my goal is to get in the top 3. When I’ll get in Ligue 1 my goal will be to escape the relegation zone, and the year later to be in the top 7. These are doable goals if you buy the right hidden gems

How do i keep it realistic? sign only players with real faces. Everything else you do here fades when you sign a 16, 17 year old with generic face, for me at least.

I have recently been enjoying playing 'player career mode' with real players. I set the camera to either 'pro' or 'end to end' for a more realistic gaming experience (from the players perspective). This is a great way of enjoying the game, particularly if you're somebody who enjoys the visuals of the stadiums etc. This version of career mode is fun if you have a certain player you admire or want to develop.

Is it still only 15 years? That is so annoying it should go on as long as you want..

The game is just not challenging you usually get promoted each year on the bounce get tons of money. Will the prem to quickly get bored delete the save and repeat

Yeah but players like Zaha for example still play for a mid lower table team , so I'll keep a world class player to my team , plus the reason why I choose a specific team in career mode IS because I LIKE one or two players in their squad that I want to keep forever unless I'm bottom of the table then is probably realistic to sell them . I like that type of old school mentality where players like Totti stuck with their team even if that team was not accomplishing objectives .

What camera settings are yiu using?

Simulate some part of your season rather than playing every game. It'll help prove whether you're actually managing the team well or you're just good at playing the game.

The tip about signing players only 1 or 2 ratings higher than your best player is a good one but doesn't necessarily work. I started a Create A Club Career in Ligue 2 a couple of days ago and set my team as 2.5 stars. Got a few players in the early 70s rating wise but when I'm scouting players, all of the ones rated 70 or above refused to sign because the league want competitive enough for their skill level 😠🤨

Yo I’m having a issue with saving my career mode. I had a 6 season long create a club career mode, and once I finished I created a new career mode and started playing. The next day I tried loading my previous career mode but it had reset to the first season. Neither the main save file or any auto save files had my 6 season progress on them. Does anyone know what happened and how to fix this?

i would use a youth players(i got a lot of them to good overalls) but there’s this glitch where they have no number and that makes me not wanna use them so i eventually sell them

I feel like all the things that you list should be mandatory in Fifa anyway, or just maybe a Realistic mode when you create a save. Career mode is so backwards to what it should and could be.

The best tip to keep career mode fun and realistic is waiting (maybe) for EASFC 23 to see if they have fixed the stupidity of manager ratings, so you can finally play the fucking game without getting sacked.

Good video. Not to be too picky because I appreciate your work, but a good start would be a realistic thumbnail. Grimsby Town got relegated to the national League. They were in FIFA 21 they are not in FIFA 22.

Lets be honest , career modes always been broken as its too easy and EA are not interested in fixing it. Methods that we as gamers can use to make it harder are contrived and not satisfying really. But for what its worth my suggestion would be to never stay at any club longer than a year (I call doing a Mourinho)

Players grow way to quick and its too easy to get a tonne of money. They need to put a difficulty level for this otherwise its way too easy

i’ve found u simply get too much money for transfers, for example i had 300 million at spurs which just felt unrealistic, ended up paying 250 mil for mertens just to make it more realistic

for me it becomes boring the moment the AI decides to ruin every single team
