Great video definitely try the Loc brushing it’s very beneficial I always say to my clients think of it like when they were a loose natural they used a comb for their hair and now with locs they trade the comb for a brush 😊it’s very affective. I can now send clients here to your video so they can hear someone else tell them about wearing a scarf or satin bonnet and covering their locs. (Tag Team )I been covering my hair and now microlocs since I was a youth. Tip on type of brush is soft bristles nooooooo nylon or ruff brushes soft like baby brush soft hope this helps someone🥰 Keep going Miss KeKe
Great tips! Thank you🥰 Things I do to discourage lint - Always wear a silk/satin scarf or bonnet to bed and when I'm cleaning or cooking. Bend my head each day and shake and run my fingers through my locs to loosen up any attached particles and then try to remove any I see still holding on. Style my hair in a bun or a roll depending the type of top I'm wearing so that my locs don't brush against it ACV rinse once every 2 months. My hair and scalp love it!
I do have a bad habit of tweezing my locs when I see lint😭! I know I shouldn’t because I’ve heard it causes weak spots. I’m normally good, but when I had my last baby I wasn’t covering my hair every night, just cause those first few weeks were so rough. Can’t wait to start brushing my locs too once they mature 🙏🏿! Great video, thanks for sharing ❤️!
Love your goku shirt I’m a huge fan amd your video is as always informative and simple. I switched from retwisting to interlocking and I can tell you im glad I made that decision because it was you and your content that made me come to decision so thank you keke!❤❤
Been using bentonite clay, it works like a shampoo but without completely stripping the hair, it's more like a shampoo, conditioner, and purifier in one
Hello! I agree with all of your tips. I think using creamier based products can contribute to build up and attracting lint. From my previous set of locs, I know that most of the lint I had was in the bottom 3 rows in the back, so now I have an undercut of those 3 rows. So far, no lint! 🤞🏾
Hey Keke!! Yes I’m pretty sure there is some lint in! I’m also careful with mine so I don’t visibly see any but if I shake off my hair I would see some flying out 😭😭! I’m 6 months and a Half in. Thank you for having been my inspiration! ❤️❤️
Thanks for the advice. Love how straightforward this video was. I really want to try the acv rinse but i have issues with other people touching my hair.
