Actually if I find myself not wanting to paint, I’ll watch RU-vid tutorials (yours are a favourite). That always gets me excited to paint again. Then I’ll either paint along, or have a go at something simple inspired by the tutorial, or work a little bit more on something I’m already doing. I never push myself to finish a more complicated painting in one sitting. I just keep coming back to it and doing a bit more until eventually it’s done. Great tips ❤

Lovely paintings as usual ! 😍 I feel you totally about lacking motivation or inspiration sometimes, and as other people mentioned already, your videos are ALWAYS a good way to give a spark, they are so awesome 🥰 and one other thing that helps me sometimes is trying new tools (brush, pens, paint brands...) WONDERFUL IDEAS AND LOVELY PAINTINGS RENATA. I'M STUCK, STUCK, SO STUCK I MAY BE IN REVERSE. I LOVE THE IDEA OF PAINTING IN MONOCROME! PERHAPS I'LL GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE IF I CAN GET OUT OF THIS RUT.

I always love to watch you paint. How about going to space. Outer space. Just look up a couple of pictures from NASA. That inspires me to make art that looks like their color enhanced photos. When they can finally send color photos back to Earth we won't have to colorize them. If that ever happens we will just look at the photos. So paint space and then when the colorized photos are up hold them up and compare what you painted and what they look like. Space is automatically abstract. Space and space travel are my simple and perfect peace. I love to think of traveling among the stars and think I could become a comet and see the universe. Have a blessed weekend.

@@MarenaART I am hoping you find your peace, but I think you already have. No matter who tells you to paint what, you love to paint and make art. Art is in your soul not just your brain. It is what makes you - YOU. And YOU are a beautiful person who is talented in art. You bring alive all that you paint even if it is a vase with flowers. You make me want to smell the flowers!

Thank you so much. We usually do think we are the only ones having issues and being lazy, but in fact, that is so normal. We all go through stuck phase and need a little push in right direction. Hope you both find your way back to painting soon.
