Y’all I live in Myrte beach my self there is bad rip current after storms most but ya the tent and umbrella laws you want to follow for sure beach portal is always in the area the waters are pretty and the pools are great yes there’s sharks tho if you come across one just inform others and inform a life guard
Not the nose helpful things, but I’m a local so maybe I just take it for granted, but I never look at the flags, and if you get there early enough you can chill in a chair for like 1-2 hours, and the lifeguard will tell you about the rip currents, and about the chairs so that’s 3 out of your 5. Packing essentials is pretty universal. If u go to the beach you should probably have stuff you need, and obviously you should show love to the animals, but at the end of the day we are in the south which means a lotta ppl are smoking cigs on the beach, and everyone from humans to animals hate dealing with that.
