Cool tip at 00:25 add position 150 and opacity 0, at start with offset -100, end with 100, advance settings: shape: ramp up, ease high 25% and ease low at 100%. 03:14 for similar size animation. Very helpful! thanks!
Привіт з України! Дякую тобі за твої туторіали. Дуже добре навчаєшь і гарно розповідаєш! Greetings from Ukraine! Thank you for your tutorials. You teach very well and tell well!
Мені приємно, що я можу навчити вас, хлопці, дякую за перегляд і будьте в безпеці It is my pleasure to be able to teach you guys, thanks for watching and stay safe
Thank you for fabulous and clear examples. Just in case anyone wants to know, the Motion Blur settings are under the >Advanced tab in the >Composition Settings. :)
Hi! I've encountered a problem, I did the step as you did in 4:08 by changing the tracking to -110, but my text was squished to the left instead of the center. Do you have any idea why this is? Great video by the way.
I am facing a problem while doing this assignment tracking amount when we put it crushes the letter also at that time the crush of the letter is from one side and not from the center what is the problem? Even though the anchor point is at the very center of the letter, this problem still occurs
hi, for the motion blur part of the video what shutter angle and samples per frame did you use? Because for me it might not look the same because right now I am using Shutter angle 180 and the frame at 16.
btw do you have a tutorial on how I can make smooth transitions wiht motion blur? Like a slide down or something that is smooth, maybe I might use position and make it slide down and enable motion blur with the settings you gave me.
Thanks a lot for these tutorials man, one question. I use AE 2021 version, some effects that the 2023+ versions have that aren't in the 2021, and when I see a tutorial like this, I want to save this as a preset or something so I don't get to do the same process every time I want to use the animation. is there a way to do that?
Yeah, you can save any animation as a preset by selecting the animators or effects, then at the top there's animation, save animation preset, call it anything, done
@@SmertimbaGraphics yeah I do that too, I was thinking if is there was any other way to do it. one more question! I use an extension called aeviewer in premiere, and I have mogrt files that this extension helps me preview the animation before I apply it. but these mogrt files don't work on AE. the extension speeds up my workflow and I want to use it in after effecs. if you're familiar with it do you know any way to make those mogrt files open in AE or do I have to go the normal way, open project --> mogrt and open it as a new project?
After creating an animation, select the animator(s) then at the top top select animation, save animation preset, that way you can drag and drop it in future
This is incredible useful! Text animations can be such a pain point and this just makes it easy to be able to focus on other aspects of the motion design. Thanks!
these are amazing! Could you share how we can do this is each text were a shape? In this case if we're working on a custom wordmark that are vetor shapes rather than a text title.
After effects has built-in animators just for the text layers that make it easy to animate text in different ways. It wouldn't be possible to do it the same way for shapes or vectors. In that case you would need to animate each part/letter manually and separately like in premiere pro for example
@@SmertimbaGraphics yep, I can send you email (or Instagram) of a screenshot with all my layer preferences, If you dont mind ofc. I tried to make the fifth title, but i literally dont have those "Tracking" setting, because i cant create an Animator to my text.
@@SmertimbaGraphics OMG, nevermind, I just found this Animation button and it was in ANOTHER layer properties window on my project, and not under my layer, like on your video. False alarm, its ok now😅
@@SmertimbaGraphics yes it work thanks .. i just started after effect and your video is literally the first thing i watchwd . do you have any video explains how to export the animated font ?
Probably a pretty simple question for you - but how do you know when to animate the offset property versus the start property? It seems like they do the same thing, no?
Offset makes smoother animations by making the letters animate in sync with each other, whereas start animates 1 character at a time without much of a sync. But not all animations done with start property can be created with offset, for example the one with position, opacity and tracking, only works with start property.
@@SmertimbaGraphics Right, so that's why you can adjust the easing on the start property since you're just adjusting the easing per character whereas you need to adjust the Ease High/Low with offset since you're animating everything as a synced group. Is that right?
