Exams are tough and students tend to make the same mistakes and lose marks. I've marked thousands of exam papers and know the common mistakes students make - here I give you 5 top tips to avoid those errors and maximise your result!
I am really loving the energy you’re giving off here professor! It's lovely seeing things from the perspective of a pro. The tips given here truly contain fundamental truths to them. Please make a video about writing a scientific/academic research report
Thank you Dr Beast - I certainly will do a video on writing research reports. As it's exam season, I have a few topics on exam prep that I want to get through first though :)
Thankssss, good video! a few questions : is there negative marking in the exams? as in if u write something thats not relevant? if i dont understand the question, do you think its a good idea to write things i know about the topic itself. Will probably give me some marks atleast no?
Thanks for your questions :) There may be negative marking in some exams, but in my experience only in multiple-choice question (MCQ) papers AND you should be notified ahead of the exam. Negative marking is used as a measure of confidence, and is designed to highlight students who answer questions 'confidently wrongly' as this is not a good habit in the medical fields. If you don't understand the specific question then writing something on the topic is better than writing nothing, although I am about to put up some videos showing real answers to questions I have set that may help highlight what you should, and should not, write!
