@Malorem I've been trying to design a wall that's impossible to break into, I can basically solve this with chunk bans to stop players mining but its almost impossible if the person breaking in knows how to use flying machines, tnt, and the piston bedrock breaking glitch that works on anything, even command blocks, they can destroy regeneration walls, tnt proof waterlogged stair walls, they can destroy redstone blocks thet I use to break the flying machines, they can destroy chunkbans and with enough of them, they can chunkload themselves, so how do you stop a flying machine?
A few things abt the 2nd one 1- What if they have efficiency V netherite pick, would that still work? 2- Wouldn't a cobblestone generator be much more effective? It'd be both faster and unlimited unlike the current design
I know the most powerfull mining detection possible in minecraft. It's called a collision box update detector. When the villager AI is calculating, the villager will fall of any ladders or vines. This is useful when having a pressure plate. It will only drtect changes in collision boxes (cobwebs or water can be placed without detection, but fence gates cannot be opened). The AI can detect changes up to 42 blocks away, depending on the length of the current path from the villager to the workstation (for example, a composter). This distance can be changed with redstone, because composters are moveble. By the way, your defence can still be breached by using Nether portals, so you have to look out for this. Also, the cheapest way to prevent people from digging under your base, is by using walls. They will update, when a block next to them is mined. Try doing some experiments yourself, because it is hard to explain.
@@glauberglousger6643 Yeah im trying to make the trap as fast as possible. if you eat before entering killing chamber its possible but lets wish the person falling for the trap panics
I'd just dig out like 4 Chunks and fill the hole with lava then build my base on top of it. Can't mine underneath a base when there _is_ no underneath.
