Yes as a child in New South Wales, Australia we (me, sister and cousin) used to see min min lights in the bush too. I'm talking around Blue Mountains which is 1.5 hours west of Sydney.

Min min lights. They can be 1-3 orbs. Sometimes the buzz. People tend to follow them off the road between Boulia and Bedourie. They’ve been seen in parkes and Forbes a few times. Super interesting to see.
