Awesome, just the video I was looking to find. Thanks for the guitar shred, btw! I planned on using this with my Axe i/o interface and amplitube 5 , plus any other plugins, etc. ✌️🤘🎸🎵🎶 keep up this great work 👍
With the output on this thump go, could you run that to a powered subwoofer? I would like to be able to play music through Bluetooth to the thump go and then have that also be going through the powered sub…. Is this possible?
Perhaps strange question as I don’t really see reviews on using the GO with edrums. Does it also works great with a ‘real’ edrum? Does the bass pedal produce a nice sound? All reviews up to now suggest using a 12 or even 15 inch monitor.
I have had a headrush frfr108 for about 8 months now and just received the Mackie thump go today. First thoughts after plugging in for a bit, the Mackie is much quieter, the volume on the headrush is set to half while the Mackie is all the way up and still just barely as loud. If you set it to mic level instead of line the volume is almost equal to the headrush, but only on channel 1. The app connects but I could not get it to control the speaker at all, which I believe is a common problem, and Mackie knows it. I got this to use as a monitor for church where outlets are scarce, so I’ll see how that goes, but overall the headrush seems to be a better unit, at least after my first time trying the Mackie.
The Thump Go would wipe the floor with its competition if it had even some basic real time adjustable 3 band eq and reverb and delay, not to mention an extra mic input with hiZ allowing up to 3 vocalists or 2 vocalists and a guitarist to plug in at the same time. It's great that it has a dedicated XLR main output unlike the jack connections available on its competition but it's very limited, particularly compared to the JBL Eon One Compact which costs about the same price here in Australia.
I have the jbl eon 1 for about 2 years and I don’t what to go with the wave of buying the Bose ps1 but I’m having a really hard time getting my JBL equalizer to the right setting 😢
Great video. I find the EQ is useless. Also was surprised you can't run a sub from the through out while using Bluetooth. Do agree it's a great speaker!
One issue i have is that if i bluetooth from youtube and then go back to the connect2 app, the youtube stopped playing, thus defeats the purpose of adjusting from the app...anyone has any solution to that. Thanks.
This is because when you close the RU-vid app it stops. It’s nothing to do with the connect2 app. It’s the way RU-vid’s app is designed. My advice would be to use a different music service like Spotify or something that will stream in your phones music player.
@@jimmyfranklin thanks for the reply but i did not close the youtube app, toggle between the 2 apps. Other bluetooth speakers i have no problems with that.
was going to buy the Thump Go but it doesnt have USB outs to power things. Very bad. Bad man. Not good. The JBL and Ev's have them. Maybe thats why the Thump's are cheaper?
