To answer many questions: it’s just water with different colors of nail polish (nail lacquer) you can also use spray paint sprayed into the water. It’s called hydro-dipping”. 😊
I did this dipping some plain ceramic hearts with red purple and gold to hang on christmas tree they looked lovely! They do take quite a long time to dry I hung them up from a coat hanger! Takes a while for the lacquer smell to go away too.

I've done my nails like this. You have to put Vaseline on your skin first. I feel those plants were to big for the little pots. Sometimes less is more with this technique. Very cute, and great way to use up old polish. Does the smell of polish go away?

Si on regarde bien pratiquement tout les trouvailles déco sont des attrapes poussières ! Sauf. qu'il faut faire des choix saisonnier et inverser pour ne pas avoir trop a dépoussiérer bien sûr !!! A chacun de voir selon ses préférences !!!

There are certain items, for example something that is supposed to look rustic, that jute looks good on. But you are right. Things that are meant to look elegant don’t go well with jute. I guess it’s an inexpensive product and comes in large quantities. I buy various trims, mostly at Temu, in assorted styles and colors. Many are metallic and those would look beautiful with nail polish.
