This is why I take extra precaution around my room, getting extra locks, having weapons in hidden spots, having the window blinds shut at all times, some people call it paranoia, I call it safety :)
These were genuinely scary! I always check and re-check my doors and windows before I go to bed. I have even thought of purchasing a window alarm and a door alarm to be on the safe side. The door alarm you slide under the door so any type of movement activates a high pitch siren.
I have a plan. We all go to the newest Llama Arts video and every one of us makes a request for this story. That way there's a bigger chance of it being animated!
I’m watching this video while home alone! O__O But it’s mid day in late spring and I live in a safe neighborhood where everyone (including me) owns a gun. So.....
How many 18-year-old boys act like an adult…that is, live on their own, work to support themselves and pay their own bills? Not many in my experience. Still kids.
Note: Just because someone got up and walked away after you pushed them out a window, that doesn't mean they were unhurt. Adrenalin (and drugs) is an amazing thing. In fact, it's pretty horrifying that the guy reaching through the catflap door in Story #2 wasn't so injured that he couldn't murder the neighbor. Most likely, drugs were involved there, too. Poor Anne. That's pretty horrifying. Sounds like she was targeted and stalked.
911 operator: nah you're just being paranoid, call back because someone you don't know throwing things at your window in the middle of the night isn't enough evidence of malicious intent

I was home alone one time and someone tried to break in through our glass door and he used a hammer to break the glass door and I was home alone and when he came up stairs I was under the bed. He came upstairs and I heard him throwing stuff around. I grabbed like 3 pocket knifes. When he got to my room he stood by my bed and I stabbed him in the foot. He shot backwards then looked under the bed and I almost stabbed him in the eye. Then he ran off when I yelled the cops are coming and I have a gun
It’s so weird to actually see the scary videos, because you just have to imagine the stories he talks about but watching these makes me feel even more scared about the other stories
I remember being younger and watching these and then getting scared, nowadays though, these are my bedtime stories. I'm not lying when I say, Mr. Nightmare you made up atleast 1/3 of my childhood

i have security cameras so i can see whats going on with my phone. when im home alone i take my ipad and set it up on my tv stand anf watch it. i feel so safe.
I had scary moment, it's my brother in laws birthday there are about 30+ people at the party,everyone seems drunk/tipsy at that time it was late already, i decided to go out to smoke,but suddenly i feel i need to pee so i walk to the side of the house and pee on the bush, and i heard something and look up i saw 2 guys climbing in the window i run as fast i can back to party and told my friends someone is trying to break in, when we got up we saw them running through the woods and my uncle without question shoot his m4 without question. 2 days after we had a call from cops that somebody in the hospital got shot, they confess that they tried to break in and they got arrrsted.
I’m always paranoid when I’m home alone and I jump every time my lizards claws scrape up against their rock(I think it’s someone trying to get in) this just makes me even more paranoid but I can’t stop watching these videos.
I’ve a lot of these stories. I have been home alone a lot since I’m 14, and I have moved from cities and houses a lot. -I was like 14, and it was like 4 am. I woke up and see a hand on the other side of the window, it was all quiet and then it started knocking. I paralyzed. I tend to do that when I’m scared. So the knocking continued like a minute. Then the hand left.... I almost had a heart attack. -I was 16 and I was living in a duplex apartment. I lived with my cat and my mom but my mom wasn’t home. I was sleeping in the first floor of the apartment and LOUD sound woke me up. I turn the light on and I see my cat scared on the corner of the room. The sound came from upstairs. I kept a knife hidden because I was too paranoic and I went upstairs. Turns out a board I had upstairs had fall into the ground. But it was weird because it was well attached to the window and my cat was sleeping with me. -I’m 22 now and I live in a 26 floor. I arrived from university and I was alone in my house and I was texting one of my friends when I heard my name from the living room. It was male voice and it was so clear. I was new in this apartment so I said “the walls are way too thin maybe is from another apartment”. I have been living here for 2 years. I haven’t hear anything like that again... -in the same apartment, I was home alone with my cat and my two dogs. This one was this year. My cat tends to be crazy at night which is the reason I attribute her all the sounds I hear at night. So I was sleeping and I woke up because a door starts sounding like someone was opening it. I kept sleeping because I thought my cat was moving a door outside. I tend to recognize now the sounds my cat does at night. This time in the middle of my sleep I recognized a strange noise, it was some steps. I’m pretty sure about it because that’s how it sounds when my brother moves around the apartment when I’m sleeping, but nobody is in the house but me. It sounds like someone is walking down there, my two dogs put their heads up and start looking at the door too. I get paralyzed again. My cat meows like when she is scared so I get even more scared. Then the sounds stop. Is everything back in silence and then I hear my cat eating as normal.
