Love this video. Working with loops is one of my favorite ways to build out ideas. Another one I'd add here is to try building a track around a loop, adding additional melody ideas, bass, drums, etc. what ever fits, and then removing the original loop all together. I love making something new from an existing sound/sample, or even a Foley I recorded on my smart phone. I watched a RU-vid video some time ago (I can't remember who made it) where the producer bounced an audio clip of a drum break to midi and used the syncopated rhythm from the drum pattern as an arp for his synth. It was pretty cool. Would you be able to make a video that covers the same or similar technique?
