Green mango is one of the most popular fruits in Vietnam. It contains a lot of vitamin C, boost the immune, reduces cholesterols... In Vietnam, green mango is used for snacks or salad. Today I will show you how Vietnamese eat green mango in 5 ways.
#1. Green mango with fish sauce:
15g fish sauce
20g sugar
Hot red chili (depends on your spicy taste)
#2 Green mango with chili salt
20g salt
Hot red chili (depends on your spicy taste)
5g MSG
#3 Green mango with shrimp paste ( or mắm ruốc)
20g shrimp paste
Hot red chili (depends on your spicy taste)
Garlic
10g sugar
#4 Green mango shaken with shrimp salt
10g shrimp salt
10g chili powder
10g sugar
To soak mango, 40g sugar and 20g fish sauce
#5 Green mango salad
400g mango
Dried beef ( you can replace by dried chicken or dried squid)
Chips
20g sugar
10g fish sauce
10g roasted peanuts
Hot red chili (depends on your spicy taste)
Purple onion
Vietnamese basil (“ húng quế”)
