College expenses can feel overwhelming, but I hope this video gave you hope (and actionable steps!) to future-proof your kids’ education. Whatever you do, don’t make the mistake a lot of parents make by compromising your retirement savings for your kid’s college! Remember, if they have to, they can always get student loans, but there aren’t loans for your retirement and you owe it to yourself (and your kids) to look out for your financial future.
....used to be that if you got a high enough grade point average, college courses were free.. But as an ex teacher I don't think it helps your child to push them into academic type learning. Especially when they are young they need PLAY to grow the brain. Play away from the computer, preferably in the outdoors. Actually come to think of it there are nature based preschools now. I'm mentioning the early years, because, according to the research these are the most important for rapid growth of creativity and autonomous problem solving. Give them paper and crayons.. allow them to interpret - don't constantly name everything! Love from Grandma
