5 Ways To Make Your Next RTG More Fun and Realistic!

I love career mode, but it's so easy for your save to get boring, unrealistic, or both. It’s especially true for road to glory saves, despite them being one of the things that FIFA does right. Most of the time they’re difficult enough to still be fun, but way less time consuming than doing one on Football Manager. The only issue is keeping them realistic.
Today I’ve looked at some real life road to glories from Luton, Brighton, Wigan and Brentford and some of my favourite RTG’s to collate some tips to help make your next save even more memorable.

He was a decent player. Played for England and Liverpool in his prime. Was part of the Champions League winning team in 2007

Another way to make transfers more difficult is to select a player in your squad you don't want, or don't mind getting rid of, make a short list of 5-10 players you would like to swap him for, and only sign the player from a team that is willing to swap for your player. Add a reasonable amount of cash if necessary, but at least half the teams will just flat out refuse the otfer and you might have to take your 4th or 5th choice.

You can recommend some PC mods because they can add a lot of realism. Not only with graphics, but more realistic transfers and more

I actually followed your advice and am currently playing the most fun career mode I've played in years. I play Fifa 14 I added Kaizer Chiefs to English League 2 and immediately every player rated above 70 left the club. So I had to gain promotion with the reserves basically and a couple of loaners. At the end of each season I would have a couple of youngsters that I want to build the team around and they would force the board to leave in the beginning of the season. And the fact that I restricted myself to signing players only from the southern Africa region means I didn't have too many to choose from. I also only scout from South Africa and Cameroon. I'm in my sixt season now just gained promotion into EPL and in all these years I've only signed one high potential youth who is 18yo 80 rated. But if history is anything to go by he won't be in the squad next season.

I'm doing one with Mark Howard the Wrexham keeper I've so far managed San jose earthquakes, inter miami and won the MLS, PSV won the league, semi finals of the UECL now im at championship team Wolverhampton wanderers who I want to take to European competition

I plan on doing a Blackburn save. First season only signing players from UK and Norse countries then I can add a new region in season 2 and so on. Lastly I’ll have to sell a youth player if a much bigger club offers. Lastly I’m using strict budgets and at least one storyline per season.

Don’t agree on strict transfers, it’s just unusable. If you’re not in the Premier League then you can’t sign anyone over 83 rated, but the AI doesn’t have that restriction

I completely disagree with you on that Burton Albion should have 1* scouts. In my opinion, they would make the perfect youth to glory team as both their academy and their first team train at Saint Georges Park, which is where the England national team train. Realistically, the better facilities would result in better players coming through but obviously im biased because they’re my local team.

But loose and strict only changes the fact that you can sign rival club players and sign players that just joined a club and also lets you sign young players from top flight clubs even in lower leagues

I basically only play Juventus career modes and the strict transfers make it impossible to sign any real Serie A talent. I know the clubs don't like to sell to Juve in real life, but history shows that the bigger teams do tend to snap up talents from the smaller provincial sides. Fiorentina transfer listed Kouame and wouldn't even let me buy him because Juventus is somehow their rival even though the match between them and Empoli is a regional derby. I hope EA is listening to your middle ground idea.

It's just boring doing one team all the time your not getting any new gameplay experiences there in the same league and the same squads unless you sign people pick different teams. In serie A and B and see the different financial situations or squad situations.

@declangaming24 you're right and I'll get to that, I probably should've mentioned I've only had the game for a few months and only play it for maybe 6-8 hours a week, and I like seeing what I can do with one of the weakest sides my favorite team has ever had in a FIFA game. I plan on trying out Leverkusen, Bilbao, Anderlecht, and either one of Grasshopper or Zurich, but I'm content trying to replicate real-life transfer rumors and the low block counter attacking that Juventus has been utilizing this season under Allegri.

I'm playing career mode on xbox series s and I don't have any of the next gen cut scenes and replays that ea advertised and you also see in this video. Do any of you know why this is? Have I misunderstood something?

@@serafinkjensli431no you can play old gen games on next gen but they wont be next gen games. You have to re-buy the game at its next gen version for all the added stuff. Same thing happened to me with gta 5.
