I love Mother Mary!!! Im in the process of converting to Catholicism, i love it. As a protestant i had to fight my inner self with The Blessed Virgin with the rosary. I used to think Catholics worship Mary but my eyes are now opened my heart has been opened and having a relationship with Mother Mary has brought me closer to Jesus!

We've been praying the Rosary daily as a family for almost a year. Even when we are on a trip we still pray it while driving, I want our children to grow in faith, to know that through prayer, everything is possible, especially when we pray to Mother Mary. You're one of the most inspirational youtubers!! ✝️

I had an aversion to Mary when I was a child and a young person. I didn't like Her because she was too goody goody. But when I read Her words from the Apparitions in Medjugorje, and I started to pray the Rosary at 22 yrs old, She touched my heart.

Hi, I would like to share an experience that I had regarding Mother Mary. In 2010, I was in an abusive relationship, I was treated terrible, and cruel. This person suddenly became my enemy and after I left this person, I had a dream of Mother Mary comforting me, and telling me I would be protected and safe from harm. I will never forget that it was a very traumatizing time in my life and I wasn't religious. I will never forget that dream, my life was never the same after that, she truly is a mother and protector. I have so much respect for her.

Heather you should visit the Shrine of the Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg MD at Mt. Saint Mary University. We went on a pilgrimage there last weekend. It's right by the Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton.

You mentioned how if we find ourselves worshipping Mary, it would be considered a mortal sin. Keep in mind Heather that there is specific criteria for a sin to be considered mortal, or "of a grave nature." In short, a person has to have the knowledge it is a serious matter and still choose to commit to doing it. Most folks don't intentionally worship Mary, they may get carried away during their prayer time with her or with their requests to her, but that hardly qualifies as mortal as it is believed that even saints and angels will just deflect the unintended worship to the Lord anyway.

wow omg i somewhat recently accepted Jesus in my life (towards the beginning of covid) and i was trying to figure out which denomination i belonged in. when i learned more about Mary, i loved her but it seems no church talked about her any further than "she gave birth to Jesus" when i knew she wasnt just a vessel. the only churches that give her the respect and admiration she deserves and actually teaches about her as a role model to women is the catholic and orthodox churches. but it was difficult for me to fully dive into Catholicism because some of the things the catholic church does seems heretical on a surface level, as a lot of protestants have oh so "kindly" pointed out. but when i actually did research and listened to real catholics, i realized it is all very biblical and that this is how Jesus intended His kingdom to be. so recently i have been wanting to get closer to Mary because God is so deep and has infinitely many ways of showing Himself, and Mary is one of those ways. she is the mother figure i've always needed, someone to aspire to be like. but i am the only christian in my house, the rest are athiests all the way and will probably never change. i keep my faith mostly hidden from them. i have some childhood friends who are catholics and were how i was exposed to christianity in the first place, but they are moving away. so when i have questions about the catholic faith, i turn to people like you on the internet. thank you for this video!

Because my mother isn't close with me is the reason why MARY is so close to me! The joy I had when I converted 2 years ago in the Holy Catholic Church, to receive and draw close to Our Lady! She relieved me through the Holy Rosary of my anxiety attacks as well. The Miraculous Medal is, and has been with me since day one. Thanks be to God! 💖🙏💪⛪🎉

One thing that you could add to your list (since you asked for recommendations) is the Brown Scapular. I have personally felt Mary's protection from wearing it. I know she has kept me safe even when I didn't necessarily deserve to be protected like in my rebellious teenage years.

I love mother Mary. I wear my Miraculous medal every day. But I began wearing the brown scapular yesterday for the first time and I truly feel like I am under spiritual attack ever since. It’s bizarre. I don’t know if the demons are mad that I am wearing this extra protection or what. I keep praying, waiting for it to stop. St. Michael and St. Joseph, come to my aid.

I’d recommend See How She Loves Us (50 approved apparitions) and Those Who Saw Her. Mary Day by Day is a lovely devotional. I’ve also read about the Incorruptibles and currently reading about Eucharistic miracles. So amazing!

This year I did the Mother Mary lenten journey. It helped me get closer to her and now everyday I make it a priority to include her in my prayers. I also wear a medal. It really is powerful and protective.🙏

One of my fave devotions is the 7 Sorrows of Mary - only takes a few minutes, doesn't require beads or accoutrements, and can be done from memory anywhere, since it is only 7 scenes and the Hail Mary.

I was blessed to meet Immaculee, who lived through the Rwandan genocide. I believe she'll be a saint having forgiven her family's killers. The Seven Sorrows rosary is wonderful, too. I recommend it highly!

I did the 31 day novena to Mother Mary of the seven sorrows of Mary, great blessings to me happened afterwards.

So I actually got some Lourdes water, they sent it to me for free, how wonderful!) and I put just a drop on the crucifix of my rosary. (Since I haven’t had it blessed yet.) As I was raised protestant I unfortunately did not know Mary as someone I could get close to spiritually, but to know she loves me as much as Christ does, is a wonderful thing.

Thanks to Our Lady and praying the Pompeii rosary novena I have got many blessings and many troubles gone away. Just pray to Her with faith and She will do like at the wedding in Cana to ask her Son for help.

I have been going to a large Catholic Church that has a lot of activities. I am going to RCIA classes and this decision has caused tension as our family attends a Protestant church. I really feel my timing is way off to finally get interested in Catholicism as my kids are very active in our Protestant church. I am just now discovering Mary and that people can have a relationship with her but it seems like more Catholic women have this relationship or maybe I just hear it addressed more with women? Anyhow, as the head of the household, I am quite curious if buying a miraculous metal or just praying to her directly would help at least calm my wife down as I move forward with my Catholic journey. I just don’t want to have discussions that can turn argumentative and then the kids see this.

For me praying literally fixes everything, especially praying the rosary! I was crying and overall feeling badly about some stuff. I decided to take a moment to be alone and just pray the rosary. I prayed and told God and Mother Mary what was on my mind. I thought about children running into their mothers' arms when crying. It felt like a burden had been taken from me, like Mary was there hugging me. I felt so happy and relaxed, and as soon as I was done praying I received some news that made me understand that my prayers were beginning to be answered.

i would think most would feel they are not worthy of consecrating themselves to beautiful Mary because they struggle with addictions and sins ( i have had that problem) and to fall back in to them after consecrating to her they would feel like they did something terribly wrong and are headed to hell

I was praying the rosary with this woman but she seems to make Mary more important than Jesus and God. This has always been a criticism of Catholicism.

With regards to the Protestants and the Blessed Mother,.....it's useless. They'll never understand Marian devotion. They will always think it's "worship" to her.
