Maybe not the right place to ask this, but this video was super helpful for me (though, I had to think in metric), The process of actually how to LOAD correctly tools would be for me atleast, absolutely amazing...I've recently bought a machine with 840D and had a 5 minute "show" to load and unload tools...but I'm constantly switching to the TSM screen and the offset/toollist...and when switching between tools they get put into the 'unload' list and not into the magazine apparently randomly....a demo or step by step loading of tools in a documentation somewhere would be helpful!
Hello the below link is a good watch for loading tools ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MukZYvlzdsI.html feel free to reach out: Dan.strubel@siemens.com
So If you set all of your tool heights using the guage length method, how do you integrate a haimer probe in your setup so you can use the probe to set your top of the work piece? would you set it exactly the same as the tools but use a block instead of the tool setter? Thanks
what do you mean Haimer probe? like this shop.haimer.com/us/Measuring-Instruments/Sensor/Universal-3D-Sensor/ ? I would use positive gauge length for all my tools and for my probes like the one in the link. Then all I have to do is call my Haimer probe out and touch the part and hit zero for z or any edge.
Hi, is it possbile to unload the active tools within the magazine and then load all created tools like the last example or replace those active positions with a program?
Are you asking for a parameter to enable the automatic measuring tool? It should be available as a standard unless hidden by the OEM. Alternatively, you could write a program that goes through the carousel and measures all the tools
