Dabulous V Thats a great idea! I sleep so terribly though. I tried that method and woke up the next morning bonnetless. It was on the bathroom floor. 🤦🏿‍♀️ How the heck it traveled from my head to the bathroom floor, I dunno, but yea. 😩🤣🤣

Me too! The first time i was removing braids a few weeks after giving birth and my hair was coming out from the roots at my edges. I was so scared until someone else told me this was normal. So after my second son, it happened again but I didn't freak out. I also used black castor oil to get my edges back🙌💪.

@taneicalyn8272

Hi Ms Palmer! I thought of a few things. Be very vocal, If you feel pain while she's retightening, let her know. She'll be able to skip a full rotation if that's whats need to keep your scalp from singing. Also, be very careful of scissors in your locs. Some consultants like to use them to separate locs, just make sure you can see what she's cutting. Also, I dunno how fast or slow your hair grows, but try to get into your consultant's chair every 6 to 8 weeks. Getting your first retightening 4 months after your install is a terrifyingly looooong time (in my opinion). You may have locs marrying (fusing together) or slippage that might need to be fixed. This may cost more time and money than usual. I hope this helps and let e know how it goes! Thanks for watching!!!

Thanks so much for your reply to my message. I think you miss understood or I wasn’t clear in my message. Lol I’m starting retightening my hair myself for the first time, l have had them retightening by my consultant twice since having them installed. But because of reasons i need to start maintaining my hair myself Lol thanks a bunch your hair is amazing and love your personality

Sandra Palmer oh! I’m sorry! Did misunderstand, but honestly, YOU should be giving ME tips! I’ve never retightened my hair myself! I’m curious to try though...lol! Let me know how it goes!!!

Lazy, Painless & Beautiful "Beauty"✊🏾! (At least that's what I'm gunning for 🤞🏽) (When it comes to our hair lazy is a good word not a curse word....& I'm not even troubled by who judges on that cuz who feels it knows... lazy for the hair & proactive for life✊🏾...) 🙈 love your points...great advice...
