For those who may not know, a sixth option is to make a new layer on top of the layer you want to recolor. Change to the mode to color and it will cover over areas, including all the shadows/gradients/etc.
very informative content without a bunch of un-needed information. I love how you set up one drawing with everything annotated. As someone who learns by doing real applications, I wish all online tutorials were like this. A+
Thank you for the awesome tutorial! The video was seamless and thorough with each technique on its own layer. I’ve gotten a lot of mixed results trying to color stuff and often didn’t know why I was getting what I got. Very well done!
Omg you’re a lifesaver haha, Tysm!! ♡ ...I’ve always just used the Recolor Tool (usually for recoloring the lineart for my drawings and stuff) but they got rid of it in the new update, so I was completely lost on how to do it. So Thank you, this really helped! :)
this was SO helpful! i have been using procreate for a while and always forget how to do things. you laid it out very well and now i have a few more things to choose from while creating things!
Yes, this was very helpful as I'm new to Procreate. The example chosen was excellent so we could compare the different results. As I'm not an artist I don't have an idea where to use those different ways but I will study your video again and perhaps find some answers. Great video. Thank you for sharing!
really helpful, thanks for being generous with your skills! You mentioned clipping masks...could you please make a video explaining it? I have watched a few vids but still don't get it. You are my only hope😹😹😹
