I was just crying to my mom yesterday about how my life feels out of control because I haven’t been putting time into God, or putting on the Armor of God. This video pops up on my feed today. Need I say more? 💙
ANDREI you don’t need 5 ways to spend time with God. He’s always there. Life is a spiritual battle every second of the day. We should always have him in our minds. We should always use his words to fight against evil spirits that Influence us. I’m not against what she said at all, she’s planting a seed into peoples lives and she will be blessed for it. I believe that God will help better explain how to really know Jesus. These are not the times to be thinking we need to give Jesus only 5 seconds. It’s just the real truth, these are the last days...don’t you think It’s much better than “5 steps”?
My favourite way of worship is at night,right before bed.I put in headphones,sit in my bed in the dark,close my eyes and just sing away for at least half an hour! (Ps: UPPERROOM is awesome as well for worship!)

Give it too Him, cast all your anxiety’s and cares upon Him for He cares, remember God is always doing His part do yours, flee from temptation, pray when you feel tempted go for a walk or get out of bed or go read your Bible really quick. confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and you have rebelled against Him and you have sinned and ask Him to help you flee from temptation, satan is trying to bring you down don’t let Him win, it’s hard I know but it’s worth it, the broad path is wide and many are on it, that path leads to hell, everything seems fine and amazing on that path until suddenly like a theif in the night they fall, sudden destruction comes, and once you are in hell there is no repenting and there is no praying. Strive to enter through the narrow gate, it’s the gate that leads to life and only few ever find it, Come to Jesus draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.
I completely agree with the part where you said about taking the pressure off and just have a relationship with him. People including myself overcomplicate god. Hes just a father that loves you more than you could ever fathom and just wants a relationship with his children. Thanks for making that known. I definitely started applying tip 5 every morning soon as my eyes open. Meet with god first before you ever meet with man. He will lay out your whole day. Good content. Classy lol.
I’m actually going to church today for the first time in a while and I was having anxiety so I just decided to find a video on RU-vid and this was like one of the first videos that was on my feed. This was super helpful as I’m not new to like “church” but I definitely have not been creating a relationship with God like I should, thank you for giving me some great ideas!

I literally have an on and off relationship with God. I’m the type who can’t commit completely- I hope and pray that God give me faith, a sincere and truthful heart, wisdom & understanding, courage, peace in my heart and mind- you guys please pray that I may get rid of my bad habits because I know for sure it’s a big hindrance for me to fully surrender myself to God. my dad is an incredible musician and i myself am also a musician so i really truly have always enjoyed "secular music". not because of it being secular, but out of appreciation for the artists talent, skill or effort! so my dad always always had me listening to classic "secular" legends but obviously i don't "worship" or value them as much as christian music :) there are some artists that i refuse to listen to and support when finding out certain things about how they treat people etc. But i'm still careful with what secular music or how much i listen to :)
It’s so important to make time for God. Sometimes we get so distracted by what’s going on in the world and sometimes with it being so negative I feel like it can have an impact in continuing our faith in the lord. See, I love all types of christian music and especially the people who talk about their stories because its encouraging to me. I have a rough past couple of years and listening to them talk about their stories is nice and makes me cry all the time because it gives me hope and knowing that I have that second chance with God. Any type of music that is speaking the truth about God is nice for me because I am so easily encouraged by them and it gets me motivated. To each their own though. As long as you're getting the truth about God, that's all that matters.
😂I laughed so much when you said I though on waiting till I was 50....alot of people think like that but that truth is we know we are alive now but we do not know where we are going to be tomorrow... What I do is that when I am sleeping a put verses of the Bible for sleeping it works. ..i am trying to wake up 3am to 4am I am a little bit struggling to keep awake...

I do like some Christian radio channels even if some is about my worth because as someone who was lost, they always remind me that God loves me, and it’ll remind me to praise God. As long as it’s not about glorifying myself.

I really liked your take on things. My first experience with church was not a good one, and I think it’s impacted my relationship with God. I was told by the church that I was going to hell for watching Harry Potter, and a bunch of other things. I’m still trying to figure things out, but I really do want a good relationship with God because I do believe in him.
meagan just know that the lord loves you. And it’s not about what you do or not do. We cannot receive salvation by our own efforts. Just believe in him . And like she said, just start with 5 mins a day. I promise you won’t be disappointed! ☺️☺️☺️
one thing that helped me with my worship time is listening to different gospel artists instead of sticking to the same ones i know/used to listening to like Hillsong and Bethel. Travis Greene (Good & Loved ft. Steffany Gretzinger, Wont Let Go, Made a Way, You Keep Me) Psalmist Raine (Spirit of God, The Great Shepard, This Altar, You Are Welcome, Lawrence Flowers (Hey Hey God Part 1&2, Savior) Tasha Cobbs (For your Glory, Break Every Chain, etc.) i also like to listen to Joseph Solomon as well as Melody Joy Cloud. they make covers on youtube, but they are still really good. i can go on and on..but i am a lyrical person as well & these songs are all about Christ and/or what he has done and will do for us. they all just feel really intimate and reminds me of who God is and who He will always be forever.

Tip number 4 is soooo KEY. Praying for you and Austin to find a home church and have that community where you are encouraged in faith, serve and exercise the scriptural one another’s . It took me and my husband years to find a home church where we felt truly home. And it makes a BIG difference. 💕💕💕

I remember a time when I was in church and I prayed that I could find some friends that love God as much as I do and a couple of weeks later, I got to become best friends with these 2 amazing Christian girls. But, whenever I make bad mistakes, I feel regret. Like God is mad at me and won't forgive me anymore. But this helped me a lot because I always try to think that to love God, you have to be perfect and act like Jesus and this and that. I love "Oceans' by HIllsong the best!!!!! I really want to go to the church that meets in my building tomorrow. The problem is, I have trouble waking up in the morning, even though it's at 11:30. I'm just thankful it's in our building. I do have the Bible on my Nook because I need large print, and it costs a little less for a Study Bible.
Time means devotion and devotion means zoning out of the distractive cultural traps... that's why it seems hard to get in. Just saying. But hey, I'm going to do these things and my kingdom assignment also. Thanks for the video😘 God bless you!
That is all such great advice. Thank you for those tips! On the subject of worship music, I find today's contemporary Christian music very 'superficial' and lacking 'substance', but that's possibly because I am in my sixties! I've been a Christian since I was 14 and back then I loved all the contemporary stuff, but now I find the old hymns are better because they actually are like sermons....they actually teach you theology! Even if you don't want to listen to the music you can just meditate on the words of the hymns or read them aloud. I find that a really uplifting form of worship. I know it might sound a bit boring and dull to most of your subscribers as I'm guessing they are young like yourself, but it definitely works for me!

Uplifting music was very hard I could never understand how people could listen to any form of gospel music. When i was younger what i did was just find gospel music in my favorite ggenre which are rap/hip hop and that helped a lot. As i got older I started listening to the words of all kinds of genres and now I understand how people listen to gospel in general. Listening to the words are definitely key.

All great advice. I noticed listening to Christian music (music about Christ like you said) is such a perfect way to start the day the right way. Then I sit and read at least one chapter in the bible. It doesn't take long to read one chapter. I have been doing the same with my children when they wander out after me I have their children christian music playing and we do their half chapter of bible reading and I see a change in their lives as well. My son has decided he wants to be a preacher. It's noting I have ever suggested because I feel they need to find their own calling in their own time but it made my heart leap for joy when he told me this. I have to thank the Holy Spirit for pushing me to put them on the right path. The one thing many forget is to listen to the Holy Spirit he is constantly nudging you to do the right thing to be more like Christ but if you don't listen to him you'll stay in that baby like place we want to mature as Christians and your advice is all a great path to getting there. That desire you felt for knowledge was the Holy Spirit saying common if you don't take in the knowledge i cannot bring it to mind when you need it.
