Good vid. I’ve used one of those for about a year. I have 2 guitars with dual outputs, magnetic and piezo, and run the piezo into the IR then to PA to do just what you did and make it sound more like a true acoustic. Then the magnetic pickups output to an amp. I use a volume pedal to be able to switch between them live, so I can do something like start with an acoustic strum and then kick it into electric mode all with the same guitar. Super useful bit of tech.

Anyone know if it would possible to run a splitter at the end of my chain in my effects loop, sending one to the amps return and the other to this IR loader, which then would run out to a DI box for FOH/in ears.

You didn´t think of running a bass directly into it - it sounds fantastic. I think there are 5 bass cab responses, and I sold my MXR bass DI preamp.

Thanks for the vid! I question regarding when you said that slots 13 to something was supposed to use asa pedal paltform. is that mostly if you have a overdrive pedal which isnt like tweakable enough to be a preamp? because if you have a preamp pedal, all the usual IRs should be fine right?

Great vid. Nice quality pedal but is this only suitable for cab and amp sims or can I load any other 200ms WAV file in it with of pre existing guitar tone to use on stage?

You can load instrument body IRs, too, like those from 3 Sigma Audio

You drop the vid at the moment where I consider this tool. I already have a captor, and I wondering if I can use this pedal after to use different IR to use it on stage. Dou you need a TRS cable or a TS to connect the captor to the pedal ? And after the pedal ? ... 🤔

You can definitely use it in that way. That’s exactly why how I’m using it at the moment in my studio. TRS-TRS cable between the Captor and pedal, then either TRS-TRS or TRS-XLR to mixing board/on stage snake etc. Works great!

Hey does anyone know how I can use one of these without having to put my amp on standby ? because what I want to do is do 1 track recorded sm57 on combo (room ambience) Then your second channel as like direct line from amp to interface thanks guys 🤟 Then other channel am wanting to put on is

How is the latency with this pedal? One review mentioned it negatively but didn't elaborate.

To be honest I haven't noticed any. Admittedly, I wasn't looking out for it, but it hasn't been an issue do far. Next time I'll use it I'll listen out for it though and let you know.

I expected some sound design uses.... like loading the IR of another instrument, to experiment with timbre. Why? Are 200ms not enough or you just chose not to?

SADLY..... this pedal doesn't have a wet/dry mix ;-( if you want to use IRs to improve the sound of acoustic instruments with pickups, then you may blend your raw sounds with the sound from the IR. The Line 6 Helix IRs have a wet/dry, and the Axe Fx III has this feature as well. IRs are for so much more than just amp/cab simulations.
