I used mine in a binder. I can keep notes from Bible studies, Sunday sermons and handouts. They are all organized and easy to find. No more loose papers or losing papers!
These are so beautiful and I never thought about using tabs in a journal, can't wait to try it out...great way to organize your thoughts especially if you're one to go back to read what you have written
Wow I love this ! I dont know how ive never thought to use them outside of my bible. Im not a fan of bible tabs in my bible, but for a bible journal ?! Love that.
I have a ring planner that I’ve turned into a Bible study and prayer journal. I use Your beautiful tabs to separate the pages. The young girls at church love the idea. Hope that helps someone looking for way to organize all the knowledge your gathering for the glory of God.
I use the blank ones in my planner and in my notebook for teaching. They are just so pretty that it feels luxurious to use them. I find that they are also affordable when on sale. I even have a set of the blank tabs that I'm looking forward to utilizing for my next planner.
These are interesting ideas. I usually buy indexed Bibles because tabs don't last long. The tabs are just stickers and are not always laminated. I don't want to ruin the pages of my Bibles when the stickers start to deteriorate. But I can see using them on prayer journals because I don't carry them around with me. Thanks for sharing!
Experienced Bible tabber here. I have tabbed at least 20 maybe more Bibles and Commentary books. When the tabs get a little warn, you cut the tabs off and replace them. They don't wear out like you think. I put tabs on my Bible 30 years ago, and they were still good, a little warn but not terrible. I put tabs on every Bible and commentary I have, and they don't wear down like that.
They stick out, but it doesn't look bad, unless your OCD and need it to be flush. Totally get that if you are, I am. Majestic Bible tabs are smaller, I used that brand in one of my study Bibles and they don't stick out as far as the others I have used..
Most bible tabs do not have enough tabs to mark index, Concordance, Harmony, Dictionary, miracles of Christ etc. Another thing that bothers me is writing on tabs with permanent marker still rubs off.
You make it look easy putting Bible tabs in the Bible. Yeah not easy I know that someone else put them in my Bible for me. Like I have to have Bible tabs read my Bible or have a Bible with thumb index I have a couple Bibles three Bibles one of you it’s just for using at home and then I have two other Bibles I switch between when I’m going to church. And now all three of my Bibles have tabs one has thumb index. And then the other two have tabs that I had my boyfriend put on although the Bible my study Bible that I just use at home years ago that was my first time my boyfriends first time putting Bible tabs in he didn’t do the best job there’s like a couple books in the Bible he messed up putting the tabs on. So my other Bible that I had gotten in the last couple years as a second bye but well technically it’s my third Bible but it was a smaller more compact Bible that I sometimes use at church and it definitely needed tabs because I am D I take forever to find whatever book in the Bible the pastor is going to read and so by the time I find that book he’s either almost done reading it or they’re done reading it I am the slowest at that. So I need Bibles with index thumb index or Bible tabs I wish there were more compact smaller Bibles that you could get with him index because I prefer Bibles that already have them versus Bibles you have to put Bible tabs in them because they’re so hard to do. Like I hate putting those in my Bible I prefer to just get a Bible that already has thumb index in them and my third Bible I want it to be more compact so it fit in my purse the other Bible I take to church doesn’t fit in my Purse it’s just a couple inches too tall so I got this other Bible in case I wanna bring a Bible with me to read when I’m somewhere waiting or I’m going somewhere where I need to bring one I had a smaller one fits better in my purse but it definitely needed tabs. But I’m sad they don’t make small compact Bible with tabs. I prefer like an NIVESV they don’t make those ones small with thumb index they make a lot of like King James Bible’s in a small compact size that fits in small purses and that already has thumb index in them kinda like tabs it’s just sad that the two types of versions of Bibles I like to read I couldn’t find a small one that was that version that already had thumb index. And then as I was saying well I’m gonna see if me and my boyfriend would mind putting some in my small Bible and that’s when I found out they come with mini ones which is perfect because I thought I was gonna have to put the regular size Bible tabs and that’s just way too huge to look funny in my Bible so now all three of my Bibles have tabs to film have tabs and then one came with thumb index and it’s wonderful because I take forever to find books in the Bible so it’s a lot easier if their tabs. I try to always keep my smaller compact Bible in my purse because you never know when you’re gonna need to read the Bible or look up a passage in the Bible so it’s great and I just think that all Bibles should just have thumb index they come with them but then again I guess there are some people who don’t like Bibles that have those in them which is so weird to me because I can’t get to certain books in the Bible like smaller books in the Bible fast enough without the tabs. But I’ve heard some people just don’t like them but I just think I’ll Bible should have those but anyways like pocket-size Bibles for example don’t come that way like Bibles that size for example like a pocket size or maybe something small around that size they don’t come that size unless you want like King James I saw lotta little king James Bible’s that I actually had the thumb index in them but like if you want ESV or like an IV good luck I couldn’t find any of those they had them already in because they are paying to put in. Oh yeah you make it look so easy to put those on it took my boyfriend probably three days three days to put them on they were not three days in a row it took him three days three days in a week so in one week three days not three days in a row but it took him that me days to get them put on and I’m so grateful he did a lot better job than he did with my study Bible like years ago long time ago he messed up putting on Bible tabs on my study Bible so there’s a couple Bibles were it’s just the wrong part of the Bible up bra part of that book of the Bible he put the tabs yeah there’s like two or three books in the Bible where the Rompage of that so when you pull that top you know to go to that with Bible it goes to a different part. Luckily it’s a Bible I just use at home but I just think I’ll be able to just come with those because they’re a pain to put on. But yeah you make it look so easy if I personally had to do it it could take me a month for the fact that my boyfriend got it done in three days not three days in a row but it took him three days I was impressed
