The most useful tipp from another diver was about breathing. In order to better maintain my buoyancy as a fresh OWD I held the breath after exhaling then took 2-3 quick deep breaths and so on. Of course, I used too much air because of it - the body needs oxygen and I did not breathe properly. So he told me to breathe constant and "belly first" - and it made me a bit better diver already the very next dive.
Yes! FirsT! I Totally AGREE, hands are not for locomotion (fins are). Don't mumble with your hands(sign clearly and deliberately), Do research before picking your equip. (I spend 3 years researching, just finished my kit /w peregrine DC). Dive DIR (Bp/W, 7ft primary etc.) for improved trim and control. cheers! safe Diving!
