Having more plugins means a bigger chance of problems/hacks, resulting in unhappy clients and bad reviews. It doesn't matter if your client doesn't have the knowledge to judge the way you do it, you should do it the right way.
@@DvApps Hmm, yeah I interpreted it as not using plugins for easy things that'll take you up to 1-2 hours to code. Of course, (most of the time) it wouldn't make sense to build your own WooCommerce or another huge plugin.
The ultimate portfolio power move is to take the company's website you want to work for and make your own version of it into your portfolio. Be sure to cut out every garbage library they use so your site gets a higher lighthouse score and bring that up a lot. Have the site's blog contain posts where you go through individual commits on the company's GitHub account and call out their current developers in lengthy detail. Finally, make a pull request that replaces the existing site with your portfolio site, and also be sure to list yourself as the CEO in the new site. On second thought, probably just follow the advice given in this video.
Hi! Love what you do. I want to ask if you can create content on filtering an image gallery with the click option to enlarge? or if you can point me in that direction? Thanks
